*sighs* Remember the part about being illiterate? First what is a pixel? Second how do I host? I could invite someone over to my house and be a host, but I don't think that will do much good because I don't have a computer at my house. What is a link? and I've only made it onto my profile page by accident once when I clicked on my name by mistake.

Since I am a glutton for punishment and thank God this is a pg-13 site, again I ask What do you think I should put on for my avatar and if it's good enough I'll ask my 13 year old son to come over and do what you told me to do.

Jesus in a birchbark canoe.

A pixel is the little square of color that, in groups, composes the images on your screen. An avatar on DM can be a maximum of 100x100 pixels square. In fact I think they force a resize to those dimensions automatically. To make one you need any image and a simple graphics program - crop and resize are the only important capabilities.

Hosting is where you the put the file somewhere online. Either get yourself an account with Photobucket or Imageshack or something, or find someone willing to put it on theirs.

The link is the web address of your image. If you click on the "profile" tab right below the blurb about RJ's death (or hell, click on your name), and then click on "account preferences" on the left of the screen, it will give you, among other things, an option of using either one of DM's stock avatars, which you're doing now, or your own image, and it will provide an box to paste the address into.

If you still don't get it, go bug somebody at the Illuminators board to help you.

Now then: *drowns ye in tapioca pudding*
