A tribute to Jordan!

I know it isn't the right forum to post this. But upon reading Harriet poem, couldn't resist. Hope the tough guys in the forum would forgive the slight.

 

The poem, in one simple word, broke my heart. So I decided to do something for Harriet. As trivial as it might be. Anyway, I fell asleep, and suddenly found myself in the "Plain of Existance". (Now people, don't steal the concept, I am working on it for my first fantasy novel  ;D).

 

And there I found RJ hanging around, with a glass of cold bear. I asked him if he has anything or any message for Harriet.He asked me to give him an hour or so. After an hour he came back with a poem written for Harriet's birthday. Now I don't know when her birthday is...it was all RJ's Idea. I am just the messanger, so don't shoot me. And here is the poem for Harriet's birthday:

 

Where-ever you go

you bring life.

Where-ever you go

cold brings warmth.

Where-ever you go

shadow brings light.

Where-ever you go

desert is paradise.

..................................

 

You are the sweetest dream

of the moonlit night,

the mountain breeze

in the twilight zone.

 

Light illumine you, light shine's on you.

 

 

You are the brightest star

in the deepest night,

the golden thread

of the evening sky.

 

 

Grace favoure you,light shine's on you.

 

 

You are the haunting melody

of the greatest heaven,

rapture tone

of the nightingale.

 

 

Light embrace you, light shine's on you.

 

 

You are the silent kiss

of the fountain mist,

gentle touch

of the soft wind.

 

 

Light breath's on you, light shine's on you.

 

 

You are the purest pulse

in the morning heart,

virgin scent

of the wild flowers.

 

God bless you Harriet, happy birth day to you.
