New DMail service to roll out tomorrow

 

Just a reminder to everyone that the new DMail service (http://mail.dragonmount.com) will launch tomorrow. Existing mail users will no longer have access to their accounts from the old system. If you are an exsting DMail user you should have received your new password by now.

Hey there...I see that it has been posted that it may take 48 hours for everything to roll over. Thats cool...but i have a question. when i clicked on the mail.dragonmount link it takes me to a page with a pretty picture on it about Archmage or something like that. is it suposse to do that? and will the D-mail short cut on the main DM page work as a sign in once everything is settled?

This should change for you in the next 24 hours if it hasn't already. You may even hear that it works for some people even if it doesn't work for you. DNS is the service that translated domain names (mail.dragonmount.com) into IP addresses (65.78.175.224) to make things easier on human beings.

 

Because this system is distributed, some people recieve changes later than others.

 

If by tomorrow evening you don't see a white page with a "DMail" logo on the top, send a message to help@dragonmount.com and I'll see if we can't find the source of that problem.

I didn't get my newpassword so i can't access the account, i did e-mail someone about this and i gave them an alternative e-mail to contact me on but i've not heard nothing yet.
