Yes Morridin that is exactly how I feel every time night descends...

Now we play the waiting game...

*picks up knitting and tries to learn Morridin's very good knitting skills*

Night is so quiet...

Sorry but I can't take up knitting, it just doesn't fit my style, so I think I shall go to sleep.

Unsuspecting, Moridin is monkeying his way down the hall, making sure that he doesn't touch the ceiling or the floor. Unfortunately for Moridin, he doesn't hear Halima's footsteps as she creeps up behind him, and he definately doesn't hear Halima plunge the knife into the back of his neck. He does feel it though. Its the last thing he ever feels.

Overjoyed by the successful kill, Halima turns around and her head gets split in half by a particularly sharp axe. Her corpse collapses, and a figure walks past her, and out into the night.

Moridin, and Halima who is mafia, are dead. It is now Day 5. Day will end Monday at 5pm EST or whenever I get home from work. I will be gone for the weekend. Good luck.

What the mysterious person did not notice, was Moridin standing up. Kicking Halima, he walks back to his room.

Moridin is alive.

With 8 alive, it takes 5 to lynch.

Another thing that the mysterious person didn't notice was that Halima didn't really die either, right Barm??  RIGHT BARM??

No fair, No fair!!  You kick hard Morridin!!  Jeeze.

Well time to cue my ultimately cool exit sequence.

*zoom in on dying body of Halima covered in blood from her head wound*

Muahahahahahahahaahhahaha puny crazy little innocents.  You will ALL die!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

*sputters blood*

Takes the jelly oozing from her head and make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from it.  Hmmmmm tasty!!  Wait this doesn't taste like Jelly...

Go team evil!!!

*dies*

That? That was why I've been screaming to be nightkilled for the past few days. Obviously Halima heard, finally.

Got no idea what killed her, though. I think Barm made it pretty clear that there was a third party involved. Whether they just happened to target her on the night she targetted me or whether they were targetting me with some sort of awesome protection role I don't know. But if it was a one time thing then maybe they should have saved it. I was already bullet proof.

Thoughts to come.

And guys, could you maybe wait for me to jump on the lynch today? I'm not asking for much, just to win before I die.

And Halima: Yes, I was wearing steel wool socks, as well. Rest in pieces.

Thoughts

• There can be no more than three evils left, otherwise we’d have lost already.

• Assuming losses keep happening at the current rate, we couldn’t lynch people fast enough if there were three evils left, so I’m going to go with two, for a total of four in the game. This seems to be a reasonable number for a game of eighteen people.

• If this is correct, we basically need to lynch evils today and tomorrow to win, otherwise we’re relying on our vigs, which is assuming there are any still active. We are no longer lynching for information.

And no, it wasn't a ricochet, there was someone else involved. It wasn't your role was it, Aginor?

I can't edit for glow, so once more with feeling: [glow=blue,2,300]We are no longer lynching for information.[/glow]

Uh-uh.

I used my role on Balth tonight in case the evils had a role blocker.

*nods*

And my role only takes away the other person's role, it doesn't kill them.

[glow=red,2,300]Aginor[/glow]

Why you so mean?

I considered whether or not to share this, for those that missed it, out of respect to the mod. But I decided that slipping is part of the game, and the pieces should fall where they will. Barm's first post announcing Moridin and Halima's deaths originally  labeled Moridin as innocent.  Then it was edited.

I'm counting that as a confirmed innocent, and since we are gunning for evils, that narrows the field down to 7.

I have a list of most likely evils, and Aginor tops it. I'm curious to see how others feel.

I'm glad someone else saw that.

Bal.... you came up as roleblocked again?  Cause I thought Aginor said his role protected people with a twist.  He said anyone who uses their role against someone he protects has their role removed?  I thought... I can go pull up the exact quote though that doesn't mean he is telling the truth.

so...

Yeah.

wtf?

And in the purpose of the everyone has a role thing, I do have a role. Barm's PM was kinda confusing, it was something of this sort (I'm not quoting, because that's against the rules) You are a healer, if anyone uses a role on the person you are healing that night, they lose their role.

This right here....

But if you said you were roleblocked then is Aginor lying about his role or that he protected you?  Or are you lying about being roleblocked? :-\

Wouldn't protecting someone protect them from being blocked?

Here's a little something to go on: Aginor spent most of the game inactive and made no real attempts to try and be influential. A random vote for Semi, a lot of spam, and an admission of being "noobish" all fall in line with the newer player's style (last few newbie games), so that's not all that interesting to me. What I do find interesting is a role reveal that makes you a healer and a stealer. I believe Balth is the only other player to have revealed a double role. Is this correct? I'll have to check. But I digress. This role is particularly useful in discouraging any vig hit, but more importantly, it explains why he never dies at night. Handy role, that.

He then goes from inactive and not having much of an opinion to being the first one (I need to double check this, but I believe he was) to vote for Balthamel. He stays suspicious of Balth, leaves his vote on Balth and even chides Balth a bit. He's watching posts and paying attention. Cyndane is lynched instead and we go to night under the impression that Aginor thought Balth was an evil.

But Balthamel lived through the night yet again (uh-huh, again) and despite Balth's admission that he would heal himself that night, Aginor admits to double healing him in case of a possible role-block. Somebody was pretty interested in protecting Balth. Any reason for that, Agi?

Balth then posts in bold that Aginor was trying to kill him in an effort to make a healing look like a hit? Aran'gar made short work of that and cleared it right up for the ruse that it was. Looks like a classic pairing and maybe a couple of slips because the game has gone on so long?

So that's it in a nutshell. Agi is Balth's bestest friend and part of a duo that always has a good reason for why they are around after every night. What else does everyone see?

How can a player that was specifically labeled as dead call themselves bullet proof? Bullet proof means you don't die. At all. If Aginor blocked Balth, who blocked your bullet proof, Moridin, and how did you come back alive?

Posted

Moridin is alive. That is all you need to know regarding that part of that scene.

Should you guys get your votes up to lynching numbers during this weekend, Vemynal will post the scene for me. I've already got it ready, so no fears of it being subpar to my usual standards. The deadline does remain the same, 5pm Monday. Have a good weekend!
