You wake up to find that everyone is still there. It appears that somebody has put sleeping gas in the vents... oh well, at least you are all well rested. Your stomach growls, and you go wandering off to the lavatory for some food.

 

It is now Day 3, You have until next Wednesday to complete the lynch. (5 daysish, weekends not included)

With 15 players alive, it takes 8 to lynch.

Wow, we all made it through the night!  This game goes from the sublime to the ridiculous, which is fitting in a nuthouse.

 

It's getting fairly late here (in RL), so I'll look over everything in the morning and see what conclusions can be drawn from the events.

So, Balthamel - did you heal or finder last night?  And if you findered, what results?

You are all sitting around in the courtyard when Be'lal walks up to Lanfear and stabs her repeatedly in the gut with a plastic knife. The shock quickly wears off of Lanfear though, and she pulls out a bone knife and promptly cuts Be'lal's throat open from ear to ear. Not a word is said. Both of them fall over and die.

 

Be'lal and Lanfear, both innocent are dead. With 13 alive, it takes 7 to lynch. It is still Day 3.

O.k. after a second to think about this, either two assassins or one person who can move during either cycle and control others and/or an assassin.

 

Consider that we will lose two or more people every night/day.

Barm, can you tell us if that little episode was the result of night actions or a crazy, Suras style random event? I mean, it was during the day phase, right? You specifically mentioned that we all survived the night.

This took place during the day phase and was not a result of a random event such as what Wes did during the Suras hunt.

Or maybe an ability of the evils, where the first two people to vote after the Day begins are killed?  That's wild speculation, but that was the first thing to pop into my head.

So, we now know that either the evils decided not to kill anyone tonight, and that can be tied in with my above post if that is true, probably not though.

 

OR the evils tried to kill and were blocked.

 

There are three ways they could have been blocked, or the kill not gone through.  1) The Roleblocker exists and blocked the right person.  2) Balthamel was telling the truth and they went after him, and he protected himself.  3) some other role we are not aware of.

 

I, myself, don't know what to think beyond this point.

I want to ask a mod question. I know you can't say if everyone is roled, but I believe they are or were before they used them. Do all the roled players have roles that have been used before or can they be new?

At least 1 role has been introduced into this game that has not previously been used here on DM.

I believe it was a new role, which stops ALL night actions, at least that is the way it seems to be described.

Ok, so ..bloodyflaminglightmothersmilkinacup. That was totally unxepected. Now boys and girls ladies and toads, that is (I hope to the DO or the creator, whoever will help) that is nutty in the nuthouse. Ok this was done in the day so either it was a 'day' action or it is a delayed action night action..

 

Actually I just noticed (slow is not the word) they are the first two posters. So from here on in I am going to assume that is the case and reason they are gone. Hence this was a night action from the role of one person, something along the lines of the first two to post die i.e. a trap. Now I'm leaning towards this person being evil as they could easily warn other evils not the post right after daybreak. However if this was an innocent they are most likely at this pointin the game to hit other innocents, so I can't see what they would hope to achive ..right I'm going to post this for now , its been quite a while

There is evidence to suggest that everyone is roled, but nothing particularly conclusive.

 

1. There is not a full coroner.

2. At least one other player has asked this question.

3. There have been three deaths that aren't accounted for by normal means. No assassin would waste a kill on night one. There were two this morning that likely aren't assassin merely because of timing but could be...

4. Two claimants for healer, though one was claimed healer/finder.

5. I know that last night no night actions went through. Unequivocally, I had a one night role block that would block every single night action. There was only blunt response to this.

 

1 healer

1 healer/finder

1 finder

1 all role blocker

1 role blocker

3-4 evils, possibly not working together and with a low number of kills a piece

1-2 assassins

1-2 symps

1 brandy new role

 

Can anyone else realistically think of another role that might be out there that we have seen before? One that might explain is double death?

 

Balthamel, how would you know about that role if you healed?

I am desperately seeking a stright banana to proove that the world in flat. And Barm, I think you meant laundry, not lavatory.

 

I've had suspicions for some time that everyone is roled. I think we must entertain the possibility that the evils also have roles beyond their normal capacities. A one time ability to break through healer protection, maybe? And the dawn trap that we've seen. Who knows what else?

 

And yes, in order to suspect that everyone is roled I must have a role myself. And I do. No, it isn't cop or doc, sorry. It isn't crucial to the innocent's success that I know of. Yeah, I'd say that even if it was. So this paragraph is my daily exercise in pointlessness. I like to get it in early.

2.  Lanfear and Be'lal post

3.  Lanfear and Be'lal die....

 

I have never wanted to say a bigger wtf.  By the way Barm your descriptions of the deaths made me cringe inside.

Wait Balt did you get blocked?  You said you were blocked before but maybe when healing someone you aren't given that message.  Sorry if that's a dumb question, I've never been a healer before.

 

Oh and in response to your vote I DID post recently.  I'm sorry I hadn't posted today until now.  Furthermore, I think we should hold off on the voting until more people realize what's going on.  Although in the mean time, you could post your "other" reasons for voting me because if "you haven't posted in awhile" is your only reason for voting me then you REALLY seem like scum.

Right now I'm shocked, confused.

 

So if the night actions were blocked, then what was that.  (yeah I know every has and probably will say it).

 

As for other roles, maybe what we say there was one of them, but why use it now, for what purpose, unless it was an evil role, or a role which was limited to when and how it could be used.
