Hey Andy! I did see the trailer...and I'm pretty excited about it.  I am really looking forward to a visit to the Waste and seeing more of my favorite baddy -

Fires of Heaven (love how Matt is developed there) and in the Knife of Dreams when Matt gets married and everyone (particularly Tuon and Karade) realizes...he is a great captain!

I love that moment in Mat's evolution! Also, the reveal of the meaning of him giving up half the light of the world. He has hard-earned glorious moments. 

 

I am curious to see how the show portrays the growth and transformation of Rand and Egwene 😊

Thank you @HeavyHalfMoonBlade ; I appreciate your kindness.  I'm slowly learning my way around.  And looking forward to meeting everyone.  How are you enjoying your time here? What's your favorite forum at DM?

 

I've entered my name in the Novice book.  And re-watching Seasons 1 and 2 in preparation for Season 3.

This is really quite a magical place. A home I never realised existed, until I am now so old and decrepit. 

 

My favourite forum? Probably those in which one is not thrown in the moat. Repeatedly and without any cause. Though that admittedly might be just me, the Aes Sedai appear to take great pleasure in my sodden discomfort. I mean I know someone has to clean behind Bob's ears, but still. 

 

Other than that, straight up book discussions are the most fun. The show tends to be a bit er, well, bookcloak-y for my tastes too often. A re-watch is a great idea, that I may have to copy in the coming days.

Yes, indeed.  That does sound like the right ones to avoid. 😂😂 Especially, if the water is a bit cold!!

I'm slowly making my way around, but I'll make sure and take a towel with me just in case.  

The re-watch has been fun.  One or two episodes at a time...stringing it along if you will.  I'm also doing a re-read (currently on LoC) and managing to keep it all from becoming mush in my brain.
