It's an interesting site.

I don't see any listing for the couple I'd be interested to find out more about.

 

I have first edition, first printing trade paperback editions of Eye of the World and Great Hunt.  Bought them both new - Feb. 1990 and Nov. 1990.

 

I've seen widely varied valuations on them in the past, and I'd be interested to see what you might know about them.

I updated the website to include 1st/1st softcover editions of The Eye of the World (scroll to the bottom of that page to see them). 

In short, paperbacks of the first three books are definitely collectible, but worth considerably less than their hardback counterparts. Here is a quick summary of some price history:

The Eye of the World 1st/1st Softcover
$15.00, sold October, 2019 (lucky buyer at this price)
$69.00, sold May, 2019
$47.25 sold August 2016

 

The Eye of the World 1st/1st Softcover SIGNED

$360.00, sold March 2021
$467.29 sold August 2012

 

Given the recent surge in popularity of these books, I would estimate current values as follows:

 

The Eye of the World 1st/1st Softcover: $75-$100

The Eye of the World 1st/1st Softcover SIGNED: $450 - $750

 

The Great Hunt 1st/1st Softcover: $35 - $65

 The Great Hunt 1st/1st Softcover SIGNED: $300-$600

 

These are estimates, of course.
