One year ago today, our friend Robert Jordan passed away.

 

One year ago today, Wilson, the "fourth brother of three", left us devestated with the announcement.

 

One year ago today, the media realized just how big of an announcement that was.

 

One year ago today, fans across the world, both casual and dedicated, dusted off their old copies of The Eye of the World and started reading again.

 

One year ago today, new fans heard the news, and were inspired to try out the series.

 

One year ago today, events were set in motion that would lead to Brandon Sanderson being tapped to complete A Memory of Light.

 

One year ago today, we lost our friend.

 

One year ago today, the Light dimmed just a little.

 

One year ago today, Brandon said it best: "You go quietly, but leave us trembling."
