The Dragonmount Writers Guild is looking for interested writers and artists to submit peices for a Dragonmount Anthology. If there is enough interest we will begin collecting submissions for a 1 to 2 month time period and then begin the selection process.
Short stories should range between 7,500 and 20,000 words. Two types of artwork can be submitted, cover artwork (which is in color) and inset artwork (which is in black and white).

Dragon*Con is America's largest, multi-media, popular arts convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film. The dates are Sept. 1-4. It is held in Atlanta, GA at the Hyatt Regency, Marriott Marquis and the Atlanta Hilton. Registration is $85 per person.

Dragonmount is proud to announce the beginning of the first ever Wheel of Time themed podcast. Called "The 4th Age" (by some), the podcast is a free weekly audio program available directly through Dragonmount.com or Apple's iTunes store.
The hosts for the show are Jayson Tremmel and Carrie Hasson, both long time vets of reading the books. We are currently looking for a 3rd person as well to be a regular on the show.

I am going to be attempting to put together an online "Get Well" Talent display for all members of Dragonmount. Anyone is welcome to participate, talented in your opinion or not, it's the thought that counts.

Robert Jordan wrote a letter to Locus Magazine yesterday stating that he has been diagnosed with amyloidosis and will begin treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. We don't think it would be appropriate to elaborate or speculate at this time, but please read his letter.

The orginal unabridged versions of A Crown of Swords and The Path of Daggers published by Books on Tape occasionally show up on the secondary market but they are uncommon and expensive. We'll update you whenever we learn more!

Today marks the first day of our 13 Days of Christmas. Yes, I know that the "normal" 12 Days of Christmas start on Dec. 25th, but we don't do things like every one else.

On Monday, December 12th, Dragonmount will launch a 13 day event called The 13 days of Christmas. Each day we'll release a little something special to help celebrate the holidays. What that "something" is will have to wait until Monday. You can RAFO. :)
