For all you wotmaniacs who are suffering from wotmania.com withdrawl: have no fear. I spoke to Mike earlier and he wanted me to let you all know that there was a power outage in the area and so the provider's network is down. Although he denies it, Robert Jordan loves lurking on all the various message boards and websites dedicated to his series. So, in order to get him to talk back with us a bit more, we've setup a blog for him to post his thoughts and commentary to.

For the last five years I have had the honor of serving as the Director of Wheel of Time programming at this convention. Though Robert Jordan was a guest of the convention in 1996, this is the first time he has attended while I’ve been associated with it. We also had cover artist Darrell K. Sweet, Teresa Patterson, co-author of the Guide, and Les and Ernst Dabel, producers of the New Spring gra
Here is a report on the book signing last night at Chapter 11 Books in Atlanta courtesy of Jennifer Liang, one of the DM Admins and the lady in charge of the Knife of Dreams and The Eye of the World, and 2,000 Knife of Dreams bookmarks. We still had quite a few left after the convention and we don't want to store that many, so everyone who attended the signing got to take some of those with them.
The bookstore policy was that Jordan would sign only two books and they had to be purchased fro

Seven years ago today Dragonmount.com open its doors to the public. At the time we were a small site, with small ambitions. We just wanted to give people a fun place to talk about their favorite books online. Then we started growing. And growing. And growing. Now with thousands of registered members, dozens of message boards, ten Organizations, two role playing games, a comprehensive, growing fan art gallery, chapter summaries, games and more, we are still growing and still just trying to have
