Luc and Isaam were combined somehow by the DO at SG. So I think that pretty much makes him an agent of the DO. As for who sent him to the Two Rivers in the first place... Well, that's still a mystery I believe.

I think Fain was the reason he was there. If you remember from the way he acted with Bornhald when he heard Fain had been at Taren Ferry, he was very interested in Fain's whereabouts.

True. :) But I thought a mom who was even a weak channeler might be a little over the top. :) I just needed a reason for someone not living in the TV area to have grown up dreaming about Warders and AS in a positive light. I thought that someone who went to the Tower and spent some time there, getting to know the surface but not really the inner working, before going home and finding love was a good source for a romanticized vision of TV.

Actually, Else was in the Tower for several months, and didn't Siuan say something like, she could have learned to channel if she'd just applied herself? That to me means that the tower keeps around anyone who can learn for a while, but if they don't manage it in a reasonable amount of time they let her go. That's what I had in mind. She had the ability to learn, but was never able to manage it for whatever reason. Whether mooning over the boys, or something else was the cause, mom never told us kids. :D

Thanks. :) I hope you enjoy it when/if it gets posted on the bio board. :)

Hrm. Yeah, I suppose that in reality it doesn't matter where they come from after all. Bandits are bandits, either way.
-
Nope, I'm hopefully going to be going for Warder. Right now I'm looking at a band raiding across the Erinin into Andor and ambushing the isolated family farm. Kills the father and takes the women for their own purposes. My character, the oldest and only son, finds the father dieing and the outlaws escaped. It's what sends him wandering out into the world instead of staying home with his ordinary life.
-
Well I need something current. :) A reason that would cause lawless bands to be roaming the shores of the Erinin like the band that hijacked the girls on their way to Tear.
Oh, and thanks for the welcome. :)

Hi all! :)
I'm in the process of writing up my first ever bio for the RP here, and I have a question. There's a point in my character's history where something bad is going to happen, but I need to know something first before I decide how to write it. In the timeline for this PSW, is there/was there a civil war wracking Cairhien? I know there's no specific mention of one at the PSW website, but thought I'd ask just to be certain before assuming there isn't one.
Thanks.
