My apologies Tig. This whole time I thought I was waiting for a PM reply from you, but turns out I'd already gotten it. I'm so sorry. :( This is now CC'd
-
Preferably Andrea as I'm kinda LoA'ish right now because of my work schedule. :P
-
*hugs Andrea*
Thanks for wading through my sickly haze to point this out to me hon. :P
Arath, I'd like some input from Tig on this please. A couple of questions.
First, do you forsee any situation where your character is going to actually try and take advantage of being part of the Royal Mayener line, or is this just a way for you to make him more interesting?
Second, if he is part of a family that it that far removed from the Throne, do you really think the surname of Paendrag would still be attached to them? It seems to me like, if they are that far removed, at some point in that line one of the direct descendants would have been female and so the surname would have changed. The main reason I mention this is because the Paendrag family of Mayene claims direct descent from Hawkwing, and with the Seanchan coming back to the world, we don't need any descendants of the High King running around.

Koapir blushed at realizing he still held on to his sword and quickly sheathed it. What was he thinking, holding a sword on a bloody Tinker like that. Liitha would be rolling on the ground with laughter if she'd seen. He considered Menno's offer. At this point he was so turned around his best bet was likely to find someplace to hold up and wait for Liitha to find him. He knew she'd worry eventually and come looking, find his tracks, and catch up to him quickly.
"Thank you Menno. That is a kind offer, and I'd be glad to help you in your search. I haven't eaten anything since some time yesterday, and after a night being attacked by a root and a stone, I think helping you with putting together a meal is a fine idea."
Kopair joined Menno and they began to move through the forest, looking for the potatoes the Tuatha’an needed for today's meals. With Kopair's help they soon found them, as well as a few other herbs and veggies that might come in handy, and soon Menno lead Kopair back to the Tinker's camp. He wasn't sure what to expect, but hoped they were all as welcoming as Menno seemed to be.

Raylin thought for a moment, considering Kass' question.
"You know Jatasha, she makes a point. If you do intend spending most of your time in skirts, yet still want to learn to fight, it might be a good idea to learn that way. However..."
She paused, trailing off, as a thought struck her.
"Are you perhaps considering becoming more then a working girl with the Band? Your arms are well muscled, and I understand you have stamina." She grinned and winked with that, hoping Jatasha would understand she meant nothing bad. "You might make a good archer like myself. And I've been working with Kass on helping her learn the bow as well."
-
That's because you never poke me on Skype to remind me. :P

Another secondary RP is in the works, but that one is going to be another week or two at least because of Nephi moving.
-
Awesome. :) And someday I won't be a trainee anymore. :P
-
Got it

We're going to be needing a big meeting in Ebou Dar soon won;t we, for announcing the new Mistress of the ships. Should be lots of opportunities for a deckhand to get in trouble. :)
-
I got those bios up on the FL board. :) Was your damane ever assigned a OP score James?
-
If y'all are RP'ing here, and haven't read far enough to know what the Legion is, you worry me. :P
Seriously though, the Legion of the Dragon is an army composed of soldiers from various Dragonsworn countries, sworn specifically to follow the Dragon, and not a specific country. In the books they began as the cast offs from those who went to try and join the BT, but it works better for DM to work this way.
So in other words Ree, you've got a toy to play with in the Peoples of the Dragon Group. :)
-
Ree dear, until this Kendra guy shows up, you're stuck with me instead. :P
-
Yeah, someone really needs to warn Kevin. ;)

Thanks to some very hard work from many people, and allot of great writing, the Freelanders are proud to announce that two major RP storylines are finished. As of last today the Laman and Laurel Crown storylines have now finished. The Seanchan have begun their assault upon the Westlands by taking Tarabon with little resistance. Cairhien has settled into an uneasy peace, and the Legion of Dragon has been formed.
The world waits for the Last Battle.

In order to encourage growth in the group by getting people creating new characters we're going to make use of an Advanced Standing policy. Essentially it means that, if you have a character in another Division, and you wish to make a Freelander character, you may start your new character at a similar rank and WS as the character from the other Division. Write up a bio, include references for the rank and WS claim, and we'll go from there. So if you've earned a WS 13 character over in the Warders, and think playing a Deathwatch Guard might be fun? Guess what? Send us a bio and reference the earned WS and you may be eligible to receive up to the earned WS So get those bios emailed in. freecastle.bio@gmail.com

In order to get things going for the Seanchan we're going to go ahead and have the Seanchan invasion officially begin. This means all those plans people have for their Seanchan characters once they get to the Randland may now commence. Assume that the Seanchan have landed in Tarabon and taking the country with little resistance.
Invaded by the Seanchan, the King and the Panarch have both been captured and have had no choice but to swear to the Crystal Throne. The Seanchan are spreading throughout Tarabon and swearing people to the Crystal Throne as they land more and more of their troops, many of which are being sent to the Almoth Plain.

None too impressed, she was restricted to the Stedding. Evenin' Zachary. Always glad to see someone come back, especially one Andrea vouches for. :) Or maybe, despite the fact that she does. ;)
No real hoops needed. We still have your info, so you're good to go really. :)

Raylin walked slowly through the stable yards, watching the horses with a small smile. Whenever she saw a horse it made her think of Jena, which always made her smile. She was taking her morning visit with Raven, and as she'd taken to doing lately she also found herself walking to the area where the Scouts kept their mounts, searching out Jena's horse Gamble. Morning duties generally kept Raylin from seeing Jena until later in the day, but somehow seeing Gamble made the wait easier. At times like this she couldn't help but shake her head in wonder. Why was she acting like this? So besotted over someone. It wasn't like her at all.
Turning the corner she spotted Gamble, and also spotted Jena. Her step quickened as her smile grew wider, then suddenly deflated as she saw Jena was not allowing. Oh well, she thought. I had been hoping to have some alone time with her, but it's always good to try and make new friends. She had to suppress a small surge of jealousy of course, especially after she saw who it was. But she knew the camp gossip was that Jatasha was head over heels for Carnhain, and Jena would never pay her for something she could get for free elsewhere. Would she? Raylin shook off that thought and walked up to the girls where they were talking, a smile back on her face.
"Well good morning ladies. A pleasure to see you this morning Jena my dear. And an added bonus to see you again Jatasha. I did remember your name correctly, didn't I? It's been a while since we met the day Jena and I arrived."
