I'm not sure if humans can run faster than horses but humans definitely can run longer than horses. We were built to run. I guess we had to run since we have weak muscles and an oversized brain :P

But why did Moiraine leave all those precious *Angreal to the DF's?

I did mean the food that have already been foraged. I've never thought about food that is still alive. I don't think living things are getting affected.
-
Well hopefully after TG the Dark One's effect on food will vanish, and the next crop will be great success.

There is a cubed pork dish in tGH I think it is that sounds delicious. A clear tangy sauce, the pork is crispy and juicy, it has red and yellow peppers...yes please.
Wasn't that the dish he ate with the Aiel? Oh that made my tummy rumble when I read that :D
Eww, pork!

I've never thought about food from Randland. I wouldn't want to think about it because it would make me want to eat what I was thinking of and then I would realize that such food doesn't exist and then I would be sad.

Ok, I see my question has gotten a little out of hand, so I'll be pesky enough to ask the question again.
What could Lan's weakness be?
-
I understand what you're trying to say. Maybe his weakness is bad luck, but could something like that be called a weakness?
-
Wow, must be nice to be Lan :)
-
Ok, so even hsi wife is uber, so he's almost invincible then.

What could Lan's weakness be?

That's another strength of Valda. He can be creative, but it Galad can be creative, and he was creative.
-
I think Valda and Galad were equals, but Galad was only a tad better.
However, I think I've read somewhere that Galad manages to see the pattern of attack of opponents. Even though he might get hurt several times, he figures out what the enemy does, and makes a strategy to kill the opponenet efficiently.
Does anyone else loathe the Aiel?

Oh yeah, the Middle East is just completely covered with jungle so the Taliban and Al Qaida have many places to hide! Excuse me but a jungle isn't necessary to use guerrilla tactics.
