  1. I don’t think many of them are still active in the fandom spaces the way they were during the late Jordan / early Sanderson years, unfortunately. Terez pops up occasionally through old Reddit posts or archived theory discussions, but she seems to have stepped away from regular forum activity quite a while ago. Luckers more or less disappeared from Dragonmount after his old farewell post about real-life commitments, and I haven’t personally seen much from Suttree or Mr Ares/Ayers in recent years either. () Honestly, that whole era of WoT theorizing felt very unique. Dragonmount, Theoryland, WoTmania, and the old forums had a core group of insanely dedicated posters who practically treated the books like academic texts. Even when people disagreed with them (sometimes fiercely), posters like Luckers, Terez, and Suttree really helped shape the culture of theory discussion back then. A lot of those conversations are still fun to reread today. My guess is most of them simply moved on with life once the series ended and the daily theorycrafting disappeared. The fandom itself also shifted heavily toward Reddit, Discord, YouTube, and social media over the years, so the old longform forum style mostly faded away. Still miss those days a bit, honestly.
  2. I honestly think there’s a good chance we’ll eventually get reprints without the “Now a Prime Video series” stamp, especially now that the adaptation seems to be over. Publishers tend to lean heavily into tie-in branding while a show is active, but once the marketing cycle dies down, they usually move back toward cleaner covers or new collector-style editions. The only downside is that it probably won’t happen immediately since Tor and Orbit likely still have a lot of existing stock to sell first. Unfortunately, the versions you posted look like the stamp is printed directly onto the artwork rather than being a removable sticker, which I know a lot of collectors dislike. I’ve seen the alternate red-background version before too, but I honestly don’t know if every printing of it included the badge. Amazon listings can be pretty unreliable with cover variations, so it’s hard to tell without seeing an actual physical copy. If you’re trying to avoid the adaptation branding altogether, it might be worth watching for future anniversary editions, hardcover reprints, boxed sets, or even older bookstore stock that predates the TV series. The Wheel of Time is still a massive fantasy series with a long readership, so I’d be surprised if cleaner non-tie-in covers don’t return eventually.
