  1. UPDATE (it might finally happened): a) Noticed some copies of the Orbit trade paperback edition had no stickers or mention of "Amazon" since July 2025. b) Just got my copy of "The Shadow Rising", "Lord of Chaos", "A Crown of Swords", "Knife of Dreams" and "A Memory of Light" without the stamps in Tor's Mass Market Paperback edition on 6th March, 2026. Just to let you all know.
  2. It has been over a month since I posted this, but I have an idea that would make this theoretical reprint relatively worthwhile: What if the final three volumes were to be compiled as a single volume A Memory of Light? The All-in-One edition of Death Note has 2400 pages, so what stopping publishers from releasing a single volume A Memory of Light now? I originally wanted to post this as a completely new post, but since this is still related to the possible reprint, I see why not suggest here as well.
  3. I do heard of getting second-hand books. Maybe I would consider, maybe I would not. A good option, though. Alternatively, if they are the same book covers they would "reprint" in the future, I personally would not mind either. I am not disagreeing what you put out, just curiosity and hope. Once again, thank you for the suggestion though.
  4. I see. As I said, my post may seem pushy, but at the same time, I am just curious about the current state for the books. Like "Mailman", you also made a good point. Even if it means to wait for decades to have them remove, I will take it.
  5. Glad you asked, because it is tricky to say they are stickers, since they are printed on the covers, so alternatively I called them stamps. If there are other names which are more suitable to use, then feel free to let me know. I might edit it for correction.
  6. Now, this post may seem non-spoilery and pushy if I could say, but as someone who is aware about the cancellation of its adaptational television series on "Prime Video", will "The Wheel of Time" get a reprint without the permanent stamp on the book covers? Example for "The Eye of the World" covers here (Source: Macmillan Publishers [first image]; Macmillan Publishers [second image]; Waterstones [third image]). The first two images are published by Tor, the third image is published by Orbit. Note: These are all the editions I aware of that have these stamps. If there are more, do let me know. Also the second image has an alternative book cover, though I am not sure if they have a stamp as well. If any of you have this version (i.e. red-coloured background and a different picture) with such stamps, do let me know as well. (Source: Amazon) You may not have to reply as soon as you can, but hopefully you can get the answer when you are ready.
