Lucan tiredly trudged towards the farm. It had been a long long walk all the way from Tear. Thinking of Tear made him think of his mother and his heart clenched. They had a tearful good bye there, he would miss her terribly. As he walked onto the farm ground he noticed hundreds of black coated men  he was to tired to even ogle them. He stopped and realized that he had no clue what to do now, he was so tired he didn't even care.

I got my Bio and all aproved but I've been busy the past few months, I was wondering how we get started at the BT. Do I have my char just waltz up to the farm or is there somthing i have to do?

Adanna wsa surpised at Melianna's words and at the sametime invigorated by them. She was of course right.

"You know what? Your right! I won't let you fail and you won't let me fail. I will be Aes Sedai and so will you if the Light wills it."

Adanna stood up and gave the other women a hug.

Adanna sighed.

"I have always been interested in Aes Sedai, I told my parents that I wanted to come to Tar Valon to become one but my mother said I had a duty-"

She grimaced, She missed them both terribally but she would not marry someone she did not love just to have children.

"to my family to get married and have children, but I couldn't stand the thought of it! So I took some money and ran...and that's how I got here."

Adanna sat down on the other bed absently smoothing the sheets as she did so. "I've been in the tower two weeks. So far it's been hard." Looking up from her lap she looked across the room at Melianna. "What brought you to the Tower?"

Adanna was so relived that her new roomie was an Arafellien that she almost forgot to introduce herself. Smiling at the fact that she was getting a fellow borderlander as her roomie she said. "My name is Adanna Ibelin, Peace favor you Melianna."

Adanna was shocked out of her reveries by a knock on her door. Hello, I was assigned to room with you Wondering who under the light she had to share her room with, Adanna smoothed her dress over her hips and opend the door.

Singing a small catch of song that she had stuck in her head Adanna buisly swept the floor of her small Novice room. She actually enjoyed the simple task of sweeping a floor, Light knows she never swept one back home. The momentary thought of Chachin and her mother and father brought a feeling of utter sadness to her. She quickly pushed the feeling down inside, she would not cry over being home sick, she wouldn't! She noticed that she had been sweeping the same patch of floor for the last ten minutes and that she had already swept clean the entire floor. With a start she set her broom up and sat on the bad and allowed herself to think of home.

I sent in a bio for a new BT Char and I haven't gotton word of weather it was accepted or not...It was like a week ago...maybe longer, I was just wondering how long it uselly takes for the bio's to be checked and such...

Thinking hard on what Maegan had said, she decided that she would put every ounce of energy into gaining the Shawl. Looking around quickly and seeing no one she gave Maegan a quick hug.

"Thank you Maegan, I think i'll be fine."

Adanna was glad that the Aes Sedai accepted her complaiment, she was even happier to find out that she could write her mother, she promised that she would as soon as she could. Maegan asked her if she had any questions, but try as she might she couldn't think about anything right of the top of her head.

"How long will it take me to become Aes Sedai?"

Adanna was shocked when Maegan mentioned a possible friendship. The more she talked with her the more she was reminded of her mother. Taking another sip of her tea, Adanna absently wondered what kind of Tea it was...Maegan had asked her if she had been shown her room, in all her hurry to meet her mentor she had completly forgoton what the Mistress of Novices had said about her accomodations. Hurridly racking her brains for what she had been told she suddenly remembered.

"No, I havnen't been shown to my rooms, Aes Se....I mean Maegan." She stumbled a little bit over the casuliness. Her and Maegan where soon on there way to the Novice quarters. Adanna found herself wanting to open up to the Aes Sedai.

"Maegan, if you don't think it odd for me to say, you remind me so much of my mother. Light, I supposed I'll never see her again..."

Adanna slowly sipped the tea, savoring the taste of it she contempated the Question....What did she excpect to learn here that she haden't learned or couldn't learn else where? There where, of course, things that only Aes Sedai knew....Then she had it, she knew why she had come here.

"Maegan Sedai, I've come here wanting to be Aes Sedai because I want to be more then Just a woman, Not that i want Fame and Glory mind you, but I want to do something worth while. Something that will help the world. Maybe that's foolish, but that's what i want."

Adanna was slightly taken of guard with the Cairheinen Aes Sedai, She did not expect to be taken deeper into her rooms or to be offered tea. Adanna glanced at her tea cup, it was a beautiful cup light blue with small paintings of flowers on it. Maegan asked her several questions, and she tried to answer to the best of her abilities.What brought you hear? "Well, Aes Sedai, I had always read about Aes Sedai and it always made me want to be one. Then my father wanted me to marry some man to bolster the family, I'm an only child. So I left and came here. I am Kandoril, Aes Sedai. I loved it there and I truly shall miss it."

At the "Enter" from the other side of the Red Door, Septima opened the door and stepped into the room, Adanna fallowed her throught the door. The woman in room already asked "What can I do for you, Child?" and Septima told her that Adanna was here as her new Mentee. Adanna gave a curtsy, not knowing what all she should do.

Adanna fallowed the other Novice Septimia through the Tower. Adanna was in slight state of shock, she hadn't really expected to be able to become Aes Sedai. She shook off the shock and setteled her mind in the frim postion that if she was going to be trained she would do the best bloody job she could and she would be somthing more then what her family had set her for. Lost in her reveres she soon found herself infront of a Red Door where Septima was knocking. Adanna calmed herself and silently waited for the reply.

Adanna was amazed when the small gem began to float in mid-air but she recovered quickly as the Aes Sedai explaiend what she had to do. Adanna blinked in slight confusion. Just concentrate on it? There has to be more then that. But Adanna was not about to go around questioning Aes Sedai, especially when she wanted to be one. So with no small amount of doubt Adanna locked her eyes on the floating gem and concentrated, one minute, two minutes, five, and then finally when it seemed like she would be stareing at that light accursed gem for the rest of her Bloody life, the oddest thing happend. A small pale flash of blue light emitted from it. Did I just do that? Adanna wondered to herself...

Adanna calmed herself as the girl in white knocked on the door. It'll be fine just act as you do when mothers family comes to visit, respectfull and humble but by no means meek. A woman's voice came from with in beckoning them to enter, the woman in white followed Adanna into the room and was only a step behind in fallowing as Adanna dipped into a curtsy. "Aes Sedai. My Name is Adanna Ibelin, I am from Chachin in Kandor." She passed gauging the woman's reaction and then decided that it would be better if she just blurted it out."I came here to the Tower because I want to be Aes Sedai" She finished in a rush. Sha gathered her breath and waited for the woman's reply.
