What to say. I liked it, full stop. Is it faithful to the source material? It isn't Would I have liked it if it was more faithful? Of course. But this adaptation is what we get, and we wont have a second one at least withib the next 20 years, I keep in mind this fact whatching this show. I liked the climax of the episode and I agree with you all there are plotholes. Huge ones (moiraine and the oaths) But, guys, I say let's be happy for what has been done well and this episode was a good ending for this season. WAY better than season 1 and WAY WAY WAY better than S01 finale. I'm satisfied for what this show is and I can't wait to see moghedien in action!

I loved the first books. only the book 1 finale left me so "WTF" that I re-read it multiple times and went to WoT Encyclopedia to be sure I had not missed something. I had not, unfortunately. but what comes after is pure gold and I agree with another user who said that after book 3 the writing and the overall atmosphere changes. it's around book 5 or 6 that I began to let the book on the self from time to time. I wasn't as catched as I was with the first books, couldn't even tell exactly why! for me the single element which convinced me to go on is the whole magic system. the saidin/saidar system literally blow my mind and it's what kept me glued to the series until now (i have not finisched it yet)

this is the first episode of the series that I enjoyed fully and truly, at last! I loved the egwene part, but I still don't understand if in the show the sul'dams knows they can channel or not. I think they know and they actively channel, unlike the books, but I'm not sure from where this my convinction comes.

hello everybody! i'm Angelo from italy, and have been reading the books for a long time, sometimes binge-reading and sometimes leaving them on the shelf for weeks or months, right now i'm in the middle of KoD! noone of my friends read the books, and this killed me because I had noone to speak of the books and the tv show with. so the question is, why didn't I sign up before here? the answer is probably lost inbetween a turn of the Wheel and the next one...
