As a female reader I found both Perrin and Faile exhausting and often would skip their chapters completely.
When I experienced the audiobook version I did not skip their chapters, and found their storyline to be the most difficult to get through. Faile overly pushy, Perrin overly whipped. Ugh.

Add me to the list of diehard book readers who are aghast at the changes made by Rafe and team. RJ is likely rolling over in his grave to see his intricate worldbuilding trampled by showrunners. I was hoping to see a visual retelling of the Wheel of Time, but seem to be watching something very different instead.
Btw, if I see one more reason to "feel bad" for Liandrin I might barf.

That one scene for me is from The Fires of Heaven when Rand chases Aviendha down, who travels to that mysterious place and runs from him for miles through the snow, and he finally catches her, and they make love in the snow shelter, and then run into the Seanchen when trying to get back.
That scene blew me away in the books.
If they cut the Rand/Aviendha love story I will be greatly displeased.

The Finn are such an essential driver to Matt's character arc. Hopefully they are included. I just don't see how he can become Matt the hero at the end of the series that he needs to be without them. And his character arc is probably my favorite!
