  1. With Raeyn? Probably about two years ago - I pretty much stopped everything once I got pregnant. According to the Brown Ajah board, it was January 2009, but I could've sworn I'd done something slightly later than that... ahh well. :)

  2. Presumably, they know how to leave messages that will eventually make it up to the Supreme Council, even if we don't know the mechanism. But the heart system makes sense for safety's sake - there are only so many people you can betray. I guess we could figure out what the best use of messaging system is and how to best utilise it.

Also, I should add for the moment that my desktop has gone boom on me, so I'm stuck on the laptop alone. This means that I'm off hiding in the Sims to keep my brain sane, which means that I'm not writing much... ah well. xD

  3. Mmm, feel free to reorganize it however you wish. I would definitely suggest, however, that those who are actually active be paired up together for y'know... the fact it would make sense. I'm not too worried about being paired up with an active Heart, insomuch that I have not had the time/brain power to flesh out where Raeyn is (Saldaea, probably) or what she's doing (idea dust, but nothing concrete).

  4. I was talking about this with Elgee, but it seems there aren't any floating around. The ones that I can find that were NSW were killed as appropriate, which is both pleasing and annoying. This means that a new one will likely have to be drafted. :) I could maybe write something, but I don't know how timely it would be - I'm already sort of swamped in the word department these days.

So that begs the question - what plans/direction did you have for the Black Ajah? I think that question might need to be answered first before attacking a bio. After all, the Aes Sedai's cover Ajah might likely have some influence in how they lead and direct in the name of whatever Chosen is over her!

  5. I have no idea where Tower politics stand right now. Greens and Browns have never gotten on (Karana was our Siuan, and Lanfir our Elaida a bit); it was the equivalent of the Blue/Red split from the books in many, many, many ways. Browns and Blues were fairly allied, though that could've drifted... probably HAS drifted. I know that it would come up on the back-end here and again and like... the Ajah heads would agree on this and that, and then it would never make it to the website or anything. *laughs* I'm sure someone can figure it out. Anyways, the historical basis was that the Greens, upon Lanfir's ascension, were supposed to take an Aes Sedai of the Blues as her Keeper. She shat on that arrangement and picked her girlfriend from her own Ajah instead, and yeah... that sort of thing didn't sit too well. :)

And yes, Rae is fine.. Ray isn't; I had to gently swot one of the Greens on t'other side of the site a few years back for insisting on using that as the short form for some time. Last I checked... not a bloke. Didn't like it when my great-grandfather called me a boy's name (a practice he upheld until my mother finally provided a great-grandson), and definitely am not tolerant of it from other folk. ;) Thankfully, the combination of not being staff anymore, and a built-in ignore mod means I can just shove people onto that list and not deal with them now if they want to be a nuisance - job done!

And thankees Grimm, I like to think I heal up fairly quick too. 'Cept for the sinuses - those are teh suck. <3

  6. *chuckles* I don't get them often, but when I do, they are bad. I've seriously managed to avoid them for nigh on 20 years, so it was a bit of an unpleasant surprise. It might've, admittedly, been a bit of pinched nervitude too, but eh... as long as I continue to go easy on myself, it should get better. :)

  7. Oh, the only reason I'm even vaguely on the ball is because if I don't get stuff out like.. in the next week? Nobody in the States will see a card this side of Christmas. And while that's not dire, I prefer to be early/prompt when at all possible.

  8. What Rasheta said - cricks are no fun. THANKFULLY, the worst of it only lasted a day, but that's 'cause I made myself take it easy. My arms, neck, and shoulder are still tender... but I might be able to up my typing/writing very very slightly. Of course, this means I'll have to pour it into Christmas cards - sigh!:rolleyes::biggrin:

  9. I'm always kind of jolted when I notice that, ohai, avatar... but yea, the question will be how long they're around for this time. Perhaps I should take advantage of this likely temporary uptime to harvest more holiday card addresses... maybe. That would require typing/writing not being just shy of agony right now, tee hee... back to convalescence!
