The only thing missing from this analysis is the bridges. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was of the impression that the brides were higher off the ground and did not have any supports in the middle of them. These bridges are obviously not as impressive as the novel which is a shame, but i guess they are trying to ground it by making it look as realistic as possible.
