Speaking of Gawyn's rings............when the blood assassins got them, wasn't it implied if not fully stated that they'd have at most a few hours to live?  Where as we see Gawyn used them several times.  He even said he's practiced with them!!

The bloodknives were active in Tar Valon for several weeks. It doesn't kill all that quickly.

But what is active?  As in, did they use their blood?  Also, he had 3.  It sounded like all he used was one (it is unclear whether more than one would improve), so why not give the others to someone else?  Most people went into the Last Battle thinking they would die anyway so I'm sure they would have no problem using it.  Lan for example would not hesitate.

From the Shadow's perspective, the only battle that really matters is the one at Shayol Ghul.  The only person they had to defeat was Rand.  So why were all the shadow's forces not sent there?  Ok so we know trollocs can't move through gateways so maybe they stay and do their thing at the other 3 battlefronts, but why not send in all the channellers and even the Sharans?  Surely Demandred should have been there at the very least. 

The Light on the other hand couldn't afford to send all their armies to Shayol Ghul because they couldn't afford to let the trollocs ransack the rest of the world.

Why did Elayne/Bashere have people making bridges to cross the Erinin when they could have just used a gateway to get across either when they got to the river or before?  Their goal was to lure the trollocs there which they did even before the bridge was finished.  They planned to destroy the bridge anyway before the trollocs could use it so the bridge itself was not needed besides getting Elayne/Bashere's army across.
