  1. 90 feet is quite high..but really, there was a woman who survived a 9-story fall with only a few broken bones...and more incredibly there was a man and a woman who jumped out of a flying plane and pulled their chutes, which did not work and crashed to the ground from some thousand feet, and survived altho with wery damaged bodies...so a 90 feet fall might not surely kill you... tho i wouldnot like to try... :-\ and one the chars that fell was a very powerful ta'veren...
  2. Well, that does not seem probable if you read their POVs in the books....I think there was one from Romanda's POV, but i don't have the books with me right now....
  3. Aram was not a major character...I doubt he wud come back.... Now, Moiraine was a major character...and she's coming back... I believe that RJ will twist everythimg up at the end that no one could have guesses what would have happened, and everyone will be satisfied...
  4. In the series, a lot of Heroes are mentioned, from great generals to great warriors...I've read the whole series only once so I'm not sure about this, but is there a single Hero who could channel? I've not yet come across any mention of one...
  5. I do hope somone have the answers to my questions... don't just view them...no offence...
  6. If it is as you say Luckers, It blurs the line between Tel'aran'rhiod and the wakin world, How long will the Heroes remain in the waking world? Does the sounder of the horn control that? And if I remeber well, Artur Hawkwing was one the heroes...will his being Ta'veren affect the Pattern as he did when he was alive? What will happen to Birgitte when the Horn is sounded again now that she is part of the waking world? Will she be affected in any way?
  7. I don't know if this topic has been discussed before because I have not read every single discussion in this forum but this one keeps bugging me... :? What actually is the Horn of Valere :?: How was it created :?: Is it a ter'angreal created by Aes Sedai :?: If it is, then how does it call back 'Heroes'-who are dead people-back from the grave :?: Even the One Power cannot ressurect the dead, so how can the Horn do it :?:
  8. Hey every one from everywhere! I have not read every page of this topic, so I'm not sure but I think I'm the only asian DMer as far as I know... I'm from Singapore..... about the same temperature here troughout the year rain or shine...
  9. Hey I'm new too...really... It's a big world in here.... I joined sometime ago but have been quite bz since... lame excuse i know... :) I'm hoping to get more active and contribute more too....
  10. Thank you, Egwene! I heard about the book before but I can't find it at the library... I'll keep looking and if I still can't find it I'll ask one of the Brown sisters to help me... :)
  11. Yea, Maybe balefire won't do too much good... I think I should try to leash them with adam... I don't really understand whats this land of the madmen...hope one of you can explain it to me...coz I'v read up to KoD and nothing was mentioned about it... :? Or is it something you guys created at DM for the roleplaying or something... :?
  12. Hi Everyone! I just finished reading KoD...Can't wait for the next book... :) I've always wanted to join DM but I've been very busy and my Pc was giving me problems...I just registered today and I look foward to having a good time here at DM... :) I have read a lot of posts here and I'm very impressed...most here at DM have vast knowledge about WoT... I still have a lot of questions unanswered about WoT...hope some of you can help me there... I had recommended WoT to some of my friends and they are all but crazy about it right now-though some of them have abandoned the Light -but I'm the only one to have read KoD... Hope I can fit in among you guys at DM...
