Some of the Sanderson criticism was unfair.

HOWEVER.....

I feel like he was self indulgent in focusing on characters who appealed to him personally at the expense of the whole cast.

Those stand out the most to me.

At the end of the day I'm thankful a story I started as a teen was brought to a conclusion no matter what 'faults' I might have found.

99% of Fantasy artwork is terrible imo.

The WOT cover art is like an Aryan Nation teenage boy's wet dream.Incredibly White ,chauvinistic and tacky.

Thank god by the time I got around to WOT I had learned not to judgea book by its cover.

Am I the only one who thinks that Nakomi was just a bone thrown to fandom to keep speculation alive? In other words, I couldn't give two douchenozzles who she was.

I can't believe how long I've been reading WOT.

Can I just say that despite the large amounts of issues with the series{I agree with a fair number mentioned in this post},it's still a fantastic read.All these people logging on to a website is testament to RJ's genius.

With that said my 'issues' ;

-Gender

-Race

-Thom being marginalized.

-The seanchan as a whole being poorly written{all they want to do is collar woman,plot against each other,grovel to the empress and claim territory?}

-The forsaken being wussies.

-Padding.
