Robert Jordan also wrote the novelization to the Arnold Schwarzenegger starring Conan movie "Conan the Destroyer". I've heard Virginia of the 4th Age Podcast and others remark that the concept of "Zombie Trollocs" must be a purely Brandon invention. However, Robert Jordan had a Necromancer as the big bad guy in almost every one of his seven Conan books.

Are any more shows coming out soon? Please please please?

I think the DO has invested a lot of power in Shaidar Haran and this could be the Dark One's unintentional weakness. SH is governed by the rules of the Creator's world (in the Pattern). I think hurting SH will hurt the DO as well and hurting SH will be Fain's destiny.

Why only once a year?

This is a tough week!
-
These are probably the best match-ups yet
-
Or 'Zombie Shaidar Haran' lol!
-
I wonder if killing Shaidar Haran would hurt the Dark One at all since SH is the DO's avatar and the DO is investing so much power into It.

Maybe it's more analogous to not being able to enter a Stedding via TAR then having to do with the TP...IDK
-
I second Mila's theory.

FYI This episode was edited by Ken S
-
It's interesting that the Ogier dead can't seem to enter the Stedding.

Oh well. I already bought a bunch of shirts early. Maybe next time...
-
I know one of the editors. He's more than ready and willing to crank shows out but he rarely gets anything sent to him to edit...
-
Doesn't look like anything is on sale today...
-
Bought one. Whooo Hooo!
-
Download it from Audible (one of Dragonmount's sponsors - their link flashes in the banner above) for $8.00.

Yay, The 4th Age is back again! Never leave us!
-
Hey, they got 5 out before they stalled again. Not too bad.
-
Provo, UT is only 8 1/2 hours away from me. I can do it!!!
-
Interesting. I wish more of the podcasters had done some research on the subject before the show so we could get more opinions and discussion instead of listening to them doing research during the show. Good show though.

A "fake" vision/ghost can create fake food. Aviendha's mind was telling her the vision was real and that the food was real. She felt full because she was expecting to. Who knows, the Wise ones may purposefully set up the right conditions for the student to have these special hallucinations or Visions. "Special ingredients" in the food or water they give the aspiring Wise One for her journey wouldn't be unprecedented.
This explanation seems to me to be more in line with the source material that Robert Jordan apparently drew from in creating the Aiel culture and customs. IDK. We'll have to RAFO

She wasn't an actual person, she was a vision, giving Aviendha a vision - maybe like a dream vision connected with the Dream World. I'm thinking she wasn't really there. Aviendha could have been projecting her own subconscious and giving herself advice through the help of the spirit guide/"Rhuidian ghost". We'll have to see if Aviendha tells the other Wise Ones about her experience and see if they know what she's talking about.

Maybe the members of The 4th Age podcast (if they still exist ;) ) or someone else will be allowed to record the presentation...
