I love the sound of Caemlyn. A true Castle-Town. Pre-Rand, it'd be a great place to live.

I started with New Spring, and have not felt cheated in any way. If he does start with it, however, be prepared to asnwer a lot of questions.

What was Alviarin doing on Tremalking in CoT?
-
For some reason, I seem to think of it being Moiraine vs. Cadsuane. However, it doesn't really make sene for Mat to be weighing them, now does it?

It's been said (I think by Egwene, or at least some Aes Sedai...) that two people skimming, even to the same location, can not see each other. So why was Rand able to see Asmodean when he was going to Rhuidean to get the Choedan Kahl? Can men see each other skimming, or were they not skimming at all? Did I just misread it? :X

Question 1: could bonded AM also bond his AS or vice versa? Could simply 2 people bond each other so that they can both have the same benefits resulting from the bond and be equal?
Question 2: don't the Seanchan Ogier have a problem with longing?
1. Just as long as they don't experiment with the "exponential orgasm"...
2. THe longing began after the breaking. The Seanchan Ogier didn't experience the breaking... so...

Faile and Elayne. Two totally unneccessary characters.

Has it been RJ/BS confirmed that killing the weaver removes Compulsion?

I think someone already mentioned this but my least favorite thing would have to be Thom Merrilins fade from the spotlight. For the first few books my fav char. was not rand, mat or perrin but Thom i think he really made those first books as good as they are, I dont really mind the massive cast of characters but having Thom pushed aside the way he was made the series seem less in my eyes. I mean who didnt at least almost cry when he saved mat and rands life at whitbridge seemingly at the cost of his own? All Hail the Grey Fox!
Quoted for truth.

Faile. I really don't like her, to be quite honest.
Also, if I read about any more of Elayne's baths in AMoL, I'm burning it.

I remember Melindhra, but who was the second woman Mat's killed? Between Mel and Renna?
-
I'm curious, who were the Darkhounds that Perrin found the tracks of in CoT after?
-
I assume they went to the Tower, considering Talaan's drive to become a Novice.
-
For the last two, I think the Black Dogs you talk about are Darkhounds, aren't they? Also, dogs and cats we know can at least sense the Source to an extent. We don't know more than that, unless I'm wrong.

I can imagine that the Aiel Waste is a much harder place to live, even if you're not fighting. There's multiple factors that could affect their age.

These are in no particular order but...
1. Mat - for rather obvious reasons.
2. Thom - After he attacked that Myrdraal in WhiteBridge... Ah... Brilliant. When I found he was alive... I seriously squealed. And I'm a dude.
3. Moiraine - Honestly, my favorite female character, because of the evolution we've seen her go through. From New Spring (the first book of the series I red XP) to current, she's just... amazing...
4. Perrin - First Ta'veren to get married ftw.
5. Birgitte - Probably one of the only women in the series with any important value that hasn't at one point or another been totally annoying or manipulated against what we knew was right.
6. Nyneave/Lan - When this dude makes a joke, you know it's funny. When Nyneave makes a joke, you know its about the incompetence of man, and how she would beat them with a stick.
7. Verin - Why? Well... Just for safety for those who haven't read up to TGS...
She was a freaking mole in the Black Ajah, took poison to reveal her knowledge, and died for the Light. Freaking awesome.
8. Logain - This guy's just plain out cool. No other words can describe him.
9. Min - I honestly love Min. She's just... awesome.
10. Semirhage - My favorite baddie. She's just... awesome. (original, I know)

Actually, Perrin doesn't know what Rand was doing until ToM. Grady finally tells him early in the book when he asks to go visit his family.
