Hey guys and girls
Umm possibly stupid question but what are forums for than to inlighten the uninlightend
I'm rereading the series for i don't even know how many times now.
I'm reading the great hunt at the moment and had a thought.
Lan gives Rand a red eagle pin for when he goes to the amyrlin.
Then when leaving Fal Dara Rand puts it in his pocket.
Now forgive me if I'm wrong I don't remember that pin really ever being mentioned or worn ever again.
Can anyone tell me why? Or did something happen to the pin and I keep missing it in my rereads?
Some might say it's just a silly pin get over it but I'd really like to know

I'm not so sure but could be. Don't know how to quote so will be typing it out :P
"It was one of the warnings novices were given;never draw heat in.A flame could be extinguished using Air or Water, but using Fire to pull the heat away meant disaster with a flame of any size. It was not a matter of strength, so Sheriam had said; heat once taken in could not be gotten rif of,"
I don't know if it might be a difference between male and female channelers

That is a very good question and it couls be possible I don't know
I also want to ask something don't know if it's a question or just curiosity......
In TSR (shadow rising) Rand sets a table and I think chairs on fire when Elayne and Egwene visit him
Then to put out the fire he draws it into the fire place, now Egw remembers that once heat gets drawn into something in can never be drawn back out,
What could the effects on the stone be? Could it weaken the stone? or stay hot forever? maybe the heat can spread?
Thoughts????

How long after the hard cover book does the soft cover usually come out?

My very first post :P so bear with me please
I'm doing my re-read and I'm currently at TGH
Now I have 3 questions:
1.Rand is already talking to a voice inside his head. Now is it possible that this voice
becomes the voice of LTT?
2.When Rand, Loial and Hurin go to the other world, I have a "problem" with the fact that they can follow the darkfriends path "because the carrying of the horn will be a great event" can't remember the exact words. the problem I have is that on that world trollocs basically took over the world, how is it then possible for the path of the horn to show there? or is it just part of that world?
3. Nothing to do with TGH just curious. Could it be possible for a male channeler to use callandor and the coedan kal (i really can't remember the spellng ???) at the same time. Using the CK as a buffer for callandor?
well that's me for now :)

This might have been asked at some point but I can't read through the whole discussion
I'm rereading again and in Eye of the world when Rand falls asleep next to Tams bed after he was healed, he wakes up with a pain in his side where his sword hilt had been pushing into him.
Now my question, is that the same side where his never healed scar is going to be and is this forshadowing? Or am I just reading too much into a simpel thought?
