*kicks feet up on a low table, flaming shot in one hand, book in the other* I'm sure you can persuade many to join *downs her flaming shot * I'll persuade them with drinks 😉 That is if @Cairos doesn't drink them all first... -

I think I just got amnesia * blinks* *blinks again* Dice?? Is that actually you?? Okay so bandy, mules and ..... sets up a line of shots, grabs her bow and arrow, sets in on fire, and aims carefully before loosing and alighting all the shots Never did that before - glad it worked - flaming shots for all!! -
Wait.... you can see me? *mutters about her reading disguise not working before realizing she spoke* Ah well it's aight - what drinks are we after today? Glad you stepped up to run it!!! I know it's quite the challenge to try and get activity here since you're beholden to what others are willing to do but it's nice we still have this space 🙂

looks up from sipping her mg brew and reading Oh why hello there! Always nice to have more permanent visitors 😉
-
Kinda Sorta More MG brew should attract more, ya?

S3 has been pretty decent so far hasn't it? As always, a few critiques but overall it's feeling more like wot to me And yes all has worked out well for the moment lol hopefully we get a new controller pretty quick I've read about 20% of a book today but then also took a nap and now I'm back on my wot rewatch - had been going back through from the beginning and am currently on s1 e7 It's great to see him make friends - I was always the shy kid and well my son is not lol

My attempt at recovery mode turned into attempted problem solving when the child realized the right controller for his vr headset wasn't working .... thankfully I got the warranty plus so gonna be sending that in and we should get a replacement But little reading was done yesterday bc that troubleshooting took far too long Today's plans include some writing, will probably head to the store because we're almost out of peppers for the guinea pigs and the child got cash at his bday party yesterday that he's already asked to go spend lol and my guess is he'll get legos Then hopefully I can truly veg and read today. Hopefully! But my kiddo had an absolute blast at his bday party yesterday - he's made some good friends at school and that makes me happy 🙂 and they know him well because they all got him things he loves - dinosaurs, nerf guns, legos, and a roblox gift card lol
-
Had an early birthday party for my kiddo today (his official bday is next weekend but he'll be at his dad's so I celebrated with him and his school friends today 🙂 ) He had an absolute blast! Now we're back home and he's enjoying all of his new toys. I did a bit of writing and am now ready to veg on the couch with a book, if the kid will let me lol

Ah yes, the spoons .... where do we leave those again? Probably somewhere positively dreadful. That's for some future raw recruit to discover though, yeah? Snags an MG Brew for herself and pats the table firmly, reminding the visitors to grab their drink before any other Band members appear from the woodwork to do so.

Titles are close enough given that I don't remember the right ones anymore lol they're listed around here somewhere And I'll choose the far left one!
-
*rouses herself from where she'd been quietly reading in the corner and rubs her eyes, then rubs them again* I do believe I see people here! Welcome! Oh dear the drinks the drinks, must find them some drinks! Cairos... ya don't mind sharing the Band's special one-of-a-kind MG brew do ya?

Welcome @Andy MacLeod!

Time to gorge ourselves on ALL THE CHOCOLATE!!! It's just all for eating, right? Right!!!
-
Look!!! SO CUTE!

Time to show off all the fancy chocolate sculptures one can find! Books, dragons, and more have been made of chocolate across the world, so share them here for us all to go 'oooo' 'aahh'

Same to you @Cairos! my kiddo got to open all of his gifts from me yesterday as we're headed to my parents today to do more presents, which are, of course, my soon to be 8year olds favorite part of the holidays lol -
Same to you! Hope you've been able to enjoy lots of delicious foods!!
-
I've heard NYC can be fun! Expensive, but fun lol I'd like to see a couple broadway shows up there as well!
-
That all sounds like so much fun @Cairos! I start year 12 of teaching on Tuesday - classroom is mostly ready, lessons are definitely ready, my kiddo is beyond stoked to start 2nd grade. But year 12. Wowsa.

SO MUCH HAM in Spain! Mostly cured. Fun fact - my host mom kept a cured pig's leg in her kitchen and would shave slices off whenever we'd need them. That thing lasted the entire time I was there (approx 4 months) For Seattle we did the classic stuff - boat trip in the Puget Sound to see whales and orcas, day at the space needle, and visited Mt Rainier National Park (and were all sore from all that hiking for the following three days lol but the views we got were worth it)

I went to athens with my mom back in 2011 and it was cool to see the different islands and all of the ancient architecture that they've preserved, though it was rainy and quite chilly while we were there lol And I adore Rome - been there 3 times now and I love experiencing its history and culture! I studied abroad in Granada, Spain and hit up a decent number of cities! Next time I head across the ocean I'm planning to finally see some of Germany and France. This past week here in the states I went up to Seattle, Washington area with my mom and sis and we even did a day trip up to Vancouver - we had legit picture perfect weather almost every day and it was SO pretty and now I'm sad that I'm home lol
