What's a webisode?

It's a new advertising technique some companies (mainly NBC) has been using (lately for the Office and Battlestar).

 

The production company behind the shows will film some 1-5 minute episodes that are put only online. In the Office ones, the three accountants are trying to find a lost $3000. In Battlestar, they are filling in some of the gaps that will happen after season 2 and in the beginning of season 3.

 

Usually these will feature the minor characters and not the biggest stars (office does not have Michael, Jim or Pam in them; Battlestar only had Chief, Cally, Tigh and some new people in it.) It gives the minor characters something more to do, but usually something they just don't have time to do in the real show.

Ahhh SG1 and Farscape... never seen Farscape and stopped watching Stargate two seasons ago.

 

I take it she is some sort of dish eh?

Honestly I found Stargate to be rather boring myself. Farscape, however is one of my two favorite shows and Claudia Black is fantastic on it!

 

My favorite qoute about Farscape:

If Star Trek is a utopian civics lesson, in a surgical theatre, Farscape is anonymous sex. In a sewer.
