I'm back! Got back on Monday and we've been getting over jet-lag and settling into marriage ever since. Settling into marriage means cooking has begun! =P The hard part is my husband is Chinese and only Chinese food will satisfy him. Sucks for me on 2 ends: 1. I cant cook much of anything, much less Chinese food; 2. I eat a lot of Chinese food (I've lived in Chinatown for 3 yrs and now he lives with me), but it's not my favorite. :P

 

Any suggestions from anyone to help the newlyweds? I've got tons of recipes and we're both willing to cook. We're on a tight budget and need to know if you guys have strategies and techniques or even blogs you read that help with cooking simple, but great and HEALTHY! meals. (My hubby is borderline diabetic.)
