Egwene the elderly Amyrlin

Let's assume that the Tower remains intact after the Last Battle, with Egwene as Amyrlin (although the former, at least, seems rather questionable, given how many institutions have fallen in previous cataclysmic events).  Historically, Sitters have almost always been Aes Sedai for at least fifty years before being chosen; I am assuming that, after the Tower is re-unified (and the too-young Sitter conspiracy ended), this custom will continue to hold.

In this scenario, well before Egwene reaches retirement age, most of the Sitters under her will have been novices while she was Amyrlin.  Moreover, Egwene seems to be becoming a legend among the novices.  How will this affect the Amyrlin-Hall relations?  Will Egwene be able to handle the Sitters as easily as Perrin handles the village Wisdoms or Cadsuane most other Aes Sedai?  Or will the newer Sitters, coming one at a time, learn from the older Sitters what attitude they are supposed to take toward the Amyrlin, so that very little changes?

I think there will be alot of changes that Aes Sedai are going to go through with or without Egwene's influence. We have already seen many examples of 'Aes Sedai Omnipotence' being shot down, questioned, ignored etc. For instance, the Aiel 'savages' and the windfinders using weaves that have never been seen before. Nynaeve's Healing along with the Ashaman's Healing, the herb forkroot etc.

Back to Egwene, I've always thought if there was a woman Taveren that it would be her. Since I know she is not, Egwene is very smart and many things will be changed because of her attitude, the way she is handling herself as a prisoner in the White Tower, opening up the Novice book to all etc.

The 'old' Aes Sedai will have to change or die out with all of the changes happening in the world along with Egwene's changes. If they try to keep the old system, I think they will be changed wether they want it or not, similar to the Aes Sedai that swore to Rand.
