Not to much happened this day.  A lot of driving and setting up of camp, but I got some good pictures of the river that we camped by.

This was day two but it's a picture of the river..... and me after I fell in.... it was QUITE cold.... but I got in it every day after this because it really relaxed and cooled you off after hiking and walking.

Day Two: Grandfather Mountain

It's called Grandfather mountain for a reason.  And what makes it even cooler is that this is a natrual formation.

These are some pictures from on the way to the top of the mountain and from the top of the mountain.  Some of them are a little greyed out because it was cloudy that morning

Day three: Tweetise Railroad www.tweetsie.com/

This is a great place to go too.  It's laid out like an American Old West town, and features a genuine Steam Powered Train Engine that give rides.

There are also actors that play characters from the old west that put on shows during the two stops the train makes at designated areas with sets on them.  There are also indian attacks on the train as part of the shows, and every show is different on every ride. (I rode three times  ;D )

Day four: Horn in the west

This is a live show that is done in an outdoor ampetheatre.  It's currently in it's 56th consectutive season.  I don't have any shots from the actual performace because flash photography is not allowed.  But this is the web site that shows the cast list and gives the history of the performance.
