Her silver-lined voice rang through the open fields as her feet moved efortlessly over the sands of the Three Fold Land. It had been a chalenging past few months at the other Sept of her blood father. He had moved from the Dragonmount clan when she had been brought into the Maidens circle. Missing them, she took a small trip over to learn things from her Mother who was once a maiden, about things that all women should talk about.

 

Men.

 

Confused with her own attraction to them, she dared not tell or mention word to her Sisters of the Spear. She did not know how safe she was from the Wise one's Dreams, and would not wish for her to be building a marraige wreath because they insisted one to chase after her. She did not wish to give up her spear that easily!

 

Use the weapons you have. was all she said to her, leaving Talbitha more and more confused than before. It was one to fight, it was one to honour, and it was even anouther to uphold both without a fight. But to understad the ways of a man could be but anouther foriegn thing to her. She purposely avoided many of the Maidens games because of this. But no more, it seems. The glint in her Blood Mother's eyes was enough to tell her that she was foolish to think she could aviod all contact with them other than conversation and battles.

 

Battles were easy. She scoffed at herself, seeing the tents in the distance. Pulling her Soufa back over her head, she picked upu her spear and started running toward the Tents.

 

She smiled as the first approached her in welcome.

<Summer Rain - Belinda Carisle>

[Ghaul]

The garra lizard was startled from the noise, and made a run for it.However Ghaul was not just going to sit by and watch his dinner get away.Sneaking was no longer of use so Ghaul jumped up,sprinted for a while and let loose an arrow.To the untrained eye of a wetlander it might seem as if a rock has suddenly come alive and shot an arrow into the sand.And Aiel however would have clearly seen the man sprinting,and the garra lizard trying to get away.It did not get far though,as the arrow snak into it's flesh and froze it into his tracks.

 

With his dinner caugth Ghaul turned his attention to the voice which has sent the garra lizard running.She was singing,a song which Ghaul has never heard before.About dancing in a rain.It never rained in the Three Fold Land.In fact,before his visits to the wetlands Ghaul thought that rain was a myth,mentioned only in fairy tales.

 

The singing stopped and the paces of the woman hurried.If Ghaul's ears were not decieving him,something they have not done since his trainee days,the woman was now running towards the Hold.Picking up his catch Ghaul headed for the Deep Shade Hold himself.At the entrance of the Hold there was excitement.Obviously the woman he had heard singing was a new arrival and was not reciving the proper welcome. Ghaul grinned and started runnign towards the Hold.After all as the Clan Chief he had to great the newcommer.
