  1. It was an icy journey to the Accepted's quarters. Gaiya didn't care. The fact that she now knew these two Novices had things they desperately wanted to get back to made Gaiya smile. She didn't care if the two girls saw her, everyone had heard of Gaiya, and everyone knew that she enjoyed the cruelty she dealt out to the newer girls when she could.

Soon enough, they reached Gaiya's room, in the Accepted's quarters. Gaiya turned to the young girls, "You two wait here, I have to get something out of my room." The Accepted turned towards the door, and moved into her room, leaving the two to ponder on what the Saldaean had in store for them.

OOC: I know... it isn't any better. I'm hungover this time. I'll try to be ready for the next post.

  2. Gaiya moved through the halls of the Tower. It was strange that today she was in a good mood. Good meaning she wasn't outright angry at anyone in particular, so her fury had no real outlet. This unfortunately meant that she was restless, fidgety. Gaiya needed to occupy herself, and she knew how she wanted to do it.

She glided through the hallways, searching. Searching for any unwitting novices who either didn't see her coming, or were too new to know to avoid the dark eyed borderlander. It was time to put the fear of Gaiya Heeldere into a couple of novices. She moved her way to the library, where there were always novices around, who didn't have any pressing matters to attend to. Sure enough, there were two girls sitting, reading. One she knew by reputation if not by actually speaking to the girl, Badriyah Bloodlover. This would be a good chance to become acquainted with the troubled young girl. The other Gaiya had seen around the Tower, but didn't actually know. This was strange in itself, as Gaiya normally made it her business to know all of the novices, and just how to make them quake in fear. She decided that these two would be excellent candidates for what she had in mind.

Gaiya moved towards the two novices, "Well, what do we have here? Two novices who don't have anything better to do than read silly little books about inconsequential fancies. You two are going to help me out with a little practice that I need to get done. Tell me your names as we move to my room. There is something we are going to need for this errand."

OOC: Sorry if this is really bad. :S Its half past three in the morning and I havent slept properly in the past couple of days. I wont tell you what to do, I'm sure you both know exactly. I'll wait for both of you to reply to get to Gaiya's room. Dont worry, the next post will be better.

  3. Gaiya moved through the hallways, Novices quickly moved out of Gaiya’s way to avoid the thunderhead that was an almost palpable aura surrounding the disgruntled Accepted. Soon enough she arrived at her destination, the library. Burn that Novice! she thought, livid at Fiera’s knack at not being found.

She fixated on another Novice sitting in the library, her nose in a book, apparently enthralled. Gaiya moved over towards the Novice, half-heartedly trying to suppress the anger welling in her. She supposed it wouldn’t be fair to lash out, but it was only a whisper of a thought.

“You, Novice, tell me your name.†Gaiya was trying to keep the anger out of her voice, it was very difficult.

Taei was having a bad week. Chores just seemed to keep coming. With that and her classes, she was burnt out. Looking at the books she had borrowed from the brown at the library, she was bad with names and could never seem to remember the woman's name, she remembered that she had finished them and should probably go and return them and look for some more. Nothing to take your mind off the present than a good book.

Looking at her reflection in the mirror she sighed. What have you gotten yourself into? Oh, well, too late to change your mind now. She had known that this was a decision she couldn't unmake from the start and she planned to stick with it. Come on now, you've been through worse before. Get your act together, it's just chores and homework for goodness sake. She had never been away from home this long before, though. Taking out the ribbon that her mother had given her when she left home between the pages of one of the borrowed books she firmly took hold of herself. Enough of this nonsense. Taking the books in hand and hold of her emotions at the same time she left the room, making sure to secure the door behind her, and went off to the library.

Weaving her way through hallways she curtsied to Aes Sedai and scrambled past Accepted hoping that none would pick her out. Hoping that they would assume that the books meant she was already on an errand. Which she was, but for herself. When she reached the library she opened the doors slowly so as not to startle someone who may have their nose burried in a book just inside.

Seeing the brown sister at the desk she walked over and waited for her to recognize that she was there, which took only a couple minutes surprisingly. Placing the books on the table she curtsied. "I came to return these, Aes Sedai, and to look around if that would be okay." At the brown sister's nod she turned and approached a shelf to the left of the desk. There she knew were books on other races and cultures. Seeing one on Ogier she decided to investigate further. Taking the book and finding a chair she started to read.

Just as she was really interested in the book and was about six pages into it she heard someone say "You, Novice, tell me your name." Since it seemed the person was almost at her shoulder she looked up from her reading and seeing the Accepted staring at her she stood, slid the ribbon into the book to keep her place, curtsied and said "Taei, Accepted."

    "Taei, Accepted."

At least the girl was respectful. By the looks of her, she was reasonably new to the Tower, as she didn’t cringe when Gaiya spoke to her, most did. Don’t be to hard on her, it’s not her fault Fiera is a little maggot. Yet another intruding thought, there were too many of those since Fiera arrived. Begrudgingly though, Gaiya had to admit that it was right.

“Well, Taei. It is uncommon for a Novice to be reading up on Ogier. Why might I ask? Never mind, another time. I need you to find someone for me. She is another Novice, a Saldaean too, only slightly shorter than me,†Gaiya raised her hand to give an indication of the heights she meant, “Her name is Fiera. Oh by the way, my name is Gaiya.†Gaiya hoped that her wondering about the Ogier book wasn’t too accusing, but she was in a foul mood at Fiera being missing like this.
