Well I think I'll start with a new Char, and if I need to bring my old one back to help train others, play, or die, I will.  Give me a couple days or so and I'll submit a new bio and start dusting of my old RP muscles

Honestly Quibby I've been trying to come pack for YEARS now, but real life, ect... and I don't want to jinks anything... Ummm... I'm coming back... I think...

As for my "Free Will" I lost that years ago!

So... for those of you who don't know my old Character, he was Infantry, then ended up leading the Scouts.  He was the rank of Captain or Banner Captain.  I can bring him back, but not sure how he'd fit in with the other children in the sand box.

Are there any other "active" players with new characters?  I could play a new recruit again and come up the ranks with them.  That would be fun.

Zander I think I remember you too.  I used to be in charge of the Band WAY-WAY-WAY-BACK in the day.  Even had my user name in green, and got to see the scary staff message boards.  I started the Officer Trainning School, (OTS) and the Red Trench (if anyone remembers that).

When I first joined it was here on Dragonmount, but then the boards crashed, and we had several other forums that we went to (and overloaded them too), before coming back here.  So it must be close to 8 to 10 years or so (though my math could be way off, I suck at math and I might have killed one to many brain cells since then).  I think I first started posting when I was 20/21, and now I'm 32.  Getting old!

Back in the old Bander days when my char was a Private, Drea was in charge and Quibby was the Sergant that trained me.

Thanks Cass!  Every year it seems I come around a say, "ya, I'm back" and then it never happens.  So I figured this time I'd just say "Hi" and see where it leads.

So, are you looking for an old bander to come back or are you looking for a new Character?  It's been many years and about 4 computers since I last RPd, so I dont have much of my old char, beside the fact he was the Captain of the Scouts. 

Who runs the Band now?  And would they like a new bio?

So I've been away for years, and my every attempt to come back and play has been pathetic to say the least. So no empty promises this time, just a 'hello'.

I still think about this place and how much it has meant to me. To see some of the old faces I used to hang with still here makes me deeply happy.

Gotcha, sounds like fun. I'm in! I'll get something up in the next day or so. If anything I do is to crazy just let me know and I'll humble fall back in line :p Since I was a scout back in the day I'll play it out that Ram stepped down (or was thrown down, both work) from leading the Scouts and went to work scouting abroad for the Band. Took a pay cut/demotion, the whole 9 yards. Came back to the citadel and was thrown back in to work on this mission.

Also, what the hell happend that Mehrin isnt in the band anymore? lol, this should be a good story.

Ha, thanks! I'm from way back in the day and I have a Ranger character named Shepherd. This is back in the day when Owen led the group, then Andi took over for him. It's been a while. Anything fun happening these days?

Alright, sounds like a plan. Who's in charge these days? I have to dig up some of my old stuff, I think I might be able to find Ram's bio again (not sure though). I used to be a Banner Captain of the Scouts, but since I've been gone for years I don't know what I am anymore. It would serve Ram right to be busted back down to private (though, I wouldn't mind keeping the old WS).

Basically someone point me in the right direction and I'll start the paper work and join on the West board a.s.a.p. Also, for this RP is there and outline?

Ya, it's old people month! Quib, Arinith, how's it going? My life is settled down a little bit now and I've been itching to get back in to writing. What's been going on around town lately? You guys looking for an oldie to come back? Or you know what, I might be in the mood to make a new character. That might help me get back in to the swing of things. *Puts away his hearing aid and brushes off the old military coat*

I might have put on a few pounds but I might fit in the old uniform again ;p

Wow it’s been forever since I’ve seen those names.  I liked them when they first came out, though I might be partial since I came up with the system.

But new is good!  Change always seems to help give a fresh look at things.  That was the spirit behind the code names anyway, it was to give some distinction and add some depth for the player’s characters.  Though most importantly it was different from the system before and it was fun.

So, I’m all for whatever is fun!

And Andular!!!  Brother, it’s been forever since you and I RPed together.  In fact, back in the day you gave me some of my first training, back when Merlin was still around.  I’d love to get the old ‘pack’ back, so to speak.

So I think I’ll keep Shep around, maybe meet some of the Wonderers.  Where are we in the official story line, anybody know?

So I’ve been inactive for a couple years now, but I find myself with some new found free time.  I’ve been reading the new book and it’s brought back a ton of great memories of my time at Dragonmount.  So, after some carful thought I’m going to try and come back.

I have a full Ranger character named Shepherd al’ Grey that I could start up with again, but I’m debating weather or not to come up with a new one.  I’m not sure of the activity level of things here with the Kin nor who the DM is or how things have changed.

Any advice on this front would be great.  I can’t wait to dust off the old RPG skills and sink my teeth into things again.  So, to any oldies out there, “I’m back!” and to all those I don’t know, “Hi! I’m Shep!”.

So, who’s out there, and any advice on where to start?
