Ayup. Everyone reporting this news referenced the Deadline report. Neither the Jordan camp, Amazon, Red Eagle, Sony, or anyone else attached has confirmed the news. So as it stands, we wait patiently.

I don't get why the easiest explanation of Olver's  importance isn't mentioned. To me, he was brought in for Mat's character development, to have him look out for someone other than himself, to grow up and stop being childish. He becomes the master general for the armies of the light, he had to learn to care for more than his own hide.
