This was a terrific game, in my biased opinion, as a fan of WoT.  The atmosphere, the visuals, the gameplay, the level design, all excellent.  Where it really shone, though, was the multiplayer.  People may have had their doubts about a FPS set in WoT, but I thought it worked beautifully.  The stock levels were very good, and then the user-made maps and user-run servers gave this game many more years of life.  I still fondly remember running my own server, and competing with friends and strangers in the world of WoT.

Fingers crossed.  Amazon seems pretty serious about the SF/F genres (LotR, Neil Gaiman, WoT), so hopefully they'll spend the $ and do it right.

I had to go back and watch the Billy Zane "trailer" to remind myself how bad it could have been.  *shudder*
