  1. I love going through and reading all these theories everyone has/had but I was lucky and unlucky at the same time.  I started reading the series not that long ago an by the time I made it towards the end of the series, all the books were out so I got to read them all back to back.  But to what you said Metal Head, I was pretty sure Galad died so him and berelain will never be.  And as far as Aviendha's predictions on the future, I believe it was established that the only reason that future existed was because the Aiel had nothing to do after TG, so I am assuming that policing the Dragon Treaty across all of Randland is plenty of work, even for them.  Especially considering that is a lot of countries and a lot of land to cover.

As far as Logain goes, I think it will be a loooong time before the black and white towers ever join, if even at all.  IMO I don't see that happening because eventually I see the Ogier building a new Tar Valon for the black tower, which will only end up solidifying that separation.

I would love to hear about the ways getting cleaned up but I doubt it unless they can do something about the Black Wind.  I don't believe it would automatically go back to the way it was because of the example we see with Mashadar.  He was created by dark events back then, and was considered a different kind of evil compared to the DO, so it makes sense that this would also be the case with the black wind.  idk just some thoughts

  2.

There's one detail you missed. In The Eye of the World the voice is ITALICIZED, but in Lord of Chaos when the Dark One speaks its voice is simply ALL CAPS. I always took that as more evidence that in EotW it was not the same voice, but the other deity, the Creator.

Also, I assumed the reason the Forsaken felt ecstasy (as well as pain) at being spoken to by the Dark One wasn't because its voice was inherently nice to listen to, but because they were sworn to the Shadow and worship evil, its voice has that effect. Maybe Light-sided people would just feel agonized at having that voice in their skull.

You are absolutely right! I can't believe I left off the italics! From that, I would gather the thought is coming from inside Rand. Italics in a novel mean the words are internal thoughts. That would lead me to believe it's Lews Therin, or some other form of the Dragon's Soul, or that the Creator is INSIDE Rand and speaks through him...

There is another point to make for it being the voice of the creator.  When Nyn eventually "heals" madness for the first time and looks at Rands head, she cant remove the taint because it is "Covered in a layer of light" which to me sounds like either some type of intervention from the creator, or the dragon was originally spun out as the creator (not rand, not even LTT if you want to take it that far) meaning he is the champ of light.  So you can then assume the creator has a connection with him so it could be His voice in rands head.

  3. Well, there is still one point that everyone is missing so far about Rand and touching the OP.  Remember, Rand's "first" use of the power that we the readers know about is right after they leave.  But for the first few books Rand always seizes the OP by envisioning the floating flame.  It was the trick that Tam showed Rand to focus his mind when hunting.  So essentially, from this information Rand has been in some way shape or form been touching the OP on some level for a long time.  It wasn't until he truly channeled at the Eye when he started to "see" the power when envisioning the flame.  Hence, we can assume that's why he could sense the shadow-spawn so early on compared to the girls.  I do not have any quotes on this matter, but I remember that's what I thought on my first read through when RJ started to associate the Void Flame with seizing the power.

Edit: I wanted to add that I do realize that the white tower has said that "Most men do not begin to channel until around Rand's age" but there is a flaw in that.  1: the word "Most" 2: The fact that the white tower has been killing men who can channel for a very long time, and not once have I seen it mentioned that anyone ever attempted to study the males before killing/Gentling them so I assume that this is more speculation than fact.
