  1. So I posted my extended bio on the off site boards, and now I think I'm ready for some slow rp-ing. Be gentle with me it has been a while...

I noticed that Mesaana is no longer among us, so that means that Elle is either alliance-free, or needs to find a new one. She also had contact with Lanfear, but guess what she isn't here anymore either...

Anyone want to pick me up somewhere and get me started??

  2. I'm pretty sure that Elle was already listed as a dready on the SG website.

Bio, ehm does my old Novice bio count?? We RPed out the whole turning stuff back in 2005 I think. I'll see if I can find anything back from it. Otherwise I'll write an outline. :)

So what has changed the past year???

  3. Hi,

so, ehm, a long time ago I used to RP in this division with my char Eleanor. She used to be a Green Sister, who was turned forcibly to the Dark by Messaana.

I'm thinking about returning to SG, can I??

    ciao

    Eleanor

  4. OOC: great post hun :) and sorry for the wait, I've had a very busy week.

IC: David's condition had become a lot worse then it had been when Viviana and Leona had visited him the day before. The fact that her protoge Leona had caught the man made Viviana feel extra responsible for him. She and the young Red took alternate turns with viviting this still rather young man.

The look in his eyes showed no recognation when she spoke, nor did Faile's words spark any action. As the girl kneeled next to David, Viv embraced the Source. David had never harmed anyone yet, but one could never be too sure. The ointment she knew would feel cool against his burning flesh, wounds invested with the evil touch of the Dark One, wounds not even the most skilled Aes Sedai of the Yellow could Heal.

Suddenly the Red Sitter saw something change in David's posture, and she deepened her connection with Saidar, drawing more until it nearly hurt. Faile didn't seem to notice, and she kept on dipping the cloth in the oinment and taking care of his wounds. As the former male channeler looked up she saw that his eyes were clear, and sane.

"Thank you," he said, his voice soft and filled with pain. Viv sighed, not many thanked the Red Ajah for their intervenience. But David did, in his sane moments he remembered the people he killed when Saidin and the Taint were still filling his blood and veins. Then the clear moment was gone again, and with a slurred voice, like a drunk, he spoke to Faile.

"You are a pretty one, you. Do you like to dance?" Stumbling David got up, as he tried to straighten himself his knees made way and he fell with his arms around Faile's neck. What he said to the young Novice was not something Viviana heard, but according to the girl's blush it wasn't something proper.

The Red Sitter had quickly walked to the pair, the One Power still filling her.

"Easy, David, come on, let her go. You are too heavy for this poor girl. You can lean on me." she said.

"I was a good dancer, you know." David said, as he sunk back on the floor and started to cry softly.

  5. The Red Halls were closeby, so it took them only a few minutes to reach her own quarters. Viviana turned to the Novice behind her, and told her to stay where she was and to wait. Inside the Red Sitter gathered some clean cloth and oinment.

Back outside she nodded to the Novice, who was still standing on the same spot. "Good, child. I see you have at least learned some obedience here. Now tell me your name, so I don't have to call you child all the time." The girl told Viviana that her name was Faile, and she curtsied again. A small smile started to show around the Red Sitter's lips, although her eyes were still stern.

She handed Faile the small package with the cloth and oinment, "Very well, Faile, my name is Viviana di Corra, Sitter for the Red Ajah. I am sure you have heard all sort of rumours about the Red Ajah and it's purpose." The girl nodded, obviously not sure what to say.

Viviana kept on walking, not waiting for the girl to follow, while she spoke. "I sure hope you have a strong stomach, because you are going to help me with something which is an important part of being a Red Sister. Though a part most non-Reds do not see. Today you are gping to see what the Taint does to one of those unfortunate males who can channel, and why it is so important to Gentle them."

"The poor man we are about to visit has been channeling for years before we found him, so the Taint has him in its graps already to far. There is not much we can do anymore for him, just offer him our companionship and ease his pain. The Taint in combination with his loss of Saidin has driven him over the edge, so don't get angry or upset from his words." Viviana's voice had become softer and warmer while she spoke. An observant listener would notice the love and care she had for that man in her words and the tone with which she spoke.

Finally they reached the rooms where the Gentled man was held. Outside two Red Sister were sitting, they stood when Viviana entered, and nodded their heads in respect. "How is he today, Mirana?" Viv asked.

"His conditions seems to detoriate quickly, Sitter. We had to take all the furniture from the room, because he started to throw it to the walls and wanted to wound himself with it." the woman said. Viv nodded and motioned to Faile to follow her inside. In the corner of the room and man was sitting on the floor, hugging his knees, rocking back and forth. His clothes were torn, showing some nasty burns and wounds on his arms and legs.

"Hello David, how are you doing today?" the Red Sitter said with a friendly voice. "I've brought a young friend to help me take care of your wounds, why don't you say hello to Faile here."

    Viviana

    Red Sitter

OOC: I hope you like it. It is not something every Novice can experience. Have fun with David, he is obviously insane, so one moment he can tell you how sweet you are, while the other he starts screaming and yelling at you. Calling you all kind of names. Viv will make sure that he won't hurt you though.

  6. OOC: this takes place before the main time line and before the Dragon's amnesty.

IC: Viviana was fuming, she had just the left the ceremonial room where the Hall of the Tower met. Some silly Blue git who calls herself a Sitter had called the Hall for some nonsense meeting. Like she had nothing better to do. As she was walking back to the Red Quarters with big angry steps Viv didn't see the Novice who stood chattering with another girl around the corner. At least not until she actually stepped on the girl's legs and nearly tripped. Her papers were flying through the air, as the two girls looked at her stunned. One of them, most probably the brightest one, Viv thought grimly, regained her senses the quickest. She quickly dropped to her knees and grabbed the papers. After she handed them to the Red Sitter she curtsied, apologised and quickly ran off.

The other girl however wasn't so quick... Before she could attempt to leave as well Viviana halted her with a cold stare. "Child," she said, her voice cold as ice, "you seem to have too much time on your hands. Follow me."

  7. The administration held by the Mistress of Trainees was as good as the one held by the Mistress of Novices, Leona noticed by the speed at which Ginae found her name in the rows of books standing behind her. “I see. You trained with Alexander Namere, right?â€

The Red noticed the sigh Ginae let when she nodded afirmative to her question. Frowning her eyebrown only slightly Leona wondered how common the knowledge of her short affair with the Tower Guard and later Warder to Melissande Sedai had been. But when the woman talked about the relative large amount of female Tower Guards the Yards harbored at the moment, she was convinced that no one outside Nynaeve Sedai, who had been the Mistress of Novices at the time, Perine and of course Alex and herself knew. Melissande had known of course, but that woman had died not too long after she had Bonded Alexander.

As her thoughts brought Leona back through memory-lane she nearly missed the softly muttered words by the Mistress of Trainees. Such a tragedy... Instantly she was fully awake and attentive again, what did the woman mean. Leo caught Ginae's look, years of practicing Aes Sedai calm had taught her to reveal nothing even though she was really curious to what she meant.

(...) Life is never easy for an orphan, not even here in Tar Valon. Leona blinked, not sure if she had heard it correct. Did the Mistress of Trainees just tell her that Alexander had died. But before she could say anything someone knocked and rushed straight in. A short red-headed woman entered with some story about a boy suddenly appearing on the wrong end of her staff. And how it was not her fault.

The tone of Ginae's voice resembled the one of the Mistress of Novices, when she talked to a Novice caught pranking, so perfectly that Leona couldn't help but shiver herself as well.

If you do not mind, Aes Sedai, I would like to assign Lyv as your trainer. She is in excellent shape, and she is a good teacher, if at times a bit rash.†“I think that being in your presence will teach her something about responsibility, and perhaps some respect for those who work hard to reach their goals. I don’t see why trainer and trainee shouldn’t both get something positive out of a training arrangement.â€

Leona nodded to the Ginae. "Thank you Mistress Auvriani. I'm sure Miss Lyv and I can use this experience to our mutual benefit." She smiled warmly at the MoT.

Turning to the red heared woman, Leo offered her hand. "Hello I am Leona Sedai, of the Red Ajah. But since I am to be your pupil, I would suggest that you call me Leona."

    Leo

  8. No one answered to her knock, at least no one from inside the room. A young woman spoke, if you'd call someone somewhere in her mid thirties young, but then again to an Aes Sedai young had a different meaning then to most. Most ordinary people wouldn't call a young woman in her twenties, child...

“She won’t open, she’s not there.†Leona couldn't help but smile at the joyful face she looked at. Entering the room after the Mistress of Trainees, she took a seat when the woman asked her too.

“How may I help you, Aes Sedai?â€

"Please call me Leona, Mistress ..." Leo fell silent, there hadn't been a sign on the door with a name, and she had failed to hear the name of the MoT from the Tower Guard she had asked directions from. The woman behind the desk quickly introduced herself as Ginae Auvriani.

"Mistress Auvriani, I would like to request your permission, and help to train in the Yards. When I was still an Accepted I have already spent a while training here, but certain circumstances forced me to quit back then. Now I've decided that it is time to try to resume where I left off back then." Leona said. She waited for a second for Ginae to nod before she continued. "I have just one request in regards to who you might choose as my trainer/mentor. I would rather have a female Tower Guard or Warder then a male. As I am of the Red Ajah, and most men seem to be rather weary of us."

    Leona

  9. Seeing Alex again after such a long time, and the feeling that she had finally forgiven him, no finally realising that there was nothing to forgive, made Leona remember the days when he was her trainer in the Yards. And that she never had resumed her training after returning from the Farm. At first because she hadn't been allowed any priviledges, and later on her studies had been too demanding. After her Raising and Alex's return she just avoided the Yards, it felt strange how she had always been afraid to see him again. In hindsight it had been something very un-Aes Sedai-like.

The sun was standing high up in the sky when Leona walked towards the Yards. She had made up her mind halfway through the night, it was time. Time to get herself back in to shape once more.

The Tower Guard she asked for directions to the Mistress of Trainee's office eyed her warily. Leo wondered why most men seemed so afraid of her and her Ajah Sisters. They were no man haters, on the contrary. She and other Red Aes Sedai had a great love for men, especially male channelers. A love so great that they couldn't bear watching them rot away, withering in to an unreversible madness. But today Leona wasn't in a mood to try to talk to the man, instead she just smiled her warmest smile and thanked the man.

As the only Ajah who didn't Bond, the Reds had even less to do with the woman who kept the young men and women, who wanted to protect and serve, in check. So before Leo knocked she hesitated for a brief second.

    Leona

  10. The gasps were clearly audible when Muirenn activated the ter'angreal. Even though Leona had seen the man, and had heard his story, before, she was still impressed by his story and the way he told it. Tears stung behind her dark eyes as she let Telcia's words sink in to her soul. The bravery of their brother of so long ago touched her in a way she could have never imagined.

When the ter'angreal went dark, the room remained silent for a few minutes. After a while Leona stood, "With your permission Highest, I would like to speak." Leo looked at Perine and waited for her to nod.

"Highest, Sitters and Sisters under the Crimson Banner. What you have seen today has and will change the history and the future of the Red Ajah. It is a wonderful opportunity to show the world our true duty to this world. How we have kept the watch like we promised so long ago. This information will rock the foundations of the White Tower and maybe even earn the Red Ajah the Seat once again."

Smiling Leo looked at her Sisters, before she took her seat again.

From everything Viviana had expected, the show she saw coming from the ter'angreal was something she could never had imagined. Not in her wildest imagination had she ever thought this could be the origin of the Red Ajah. She shuddered as she thought at the idea of asking a male channeler to Still her and her Sisters, to cut away that wonderful feeling of Saidar, the same way that male Aes Sedai now asked his Sister to do.

It was something she could hardly believe to be true, it just couldn't be true. Viv stared at her hands, they were shaking. The pregnant silence was broken by a young promising Sister, Leona, who asked permision to speak. Perine, who seemed as shocked as the rest of them granted the woman permission with a nod of her head. At the end of Leona's little speech, where she plead to tell this discovery to the rest of the world. Viviana stood.

"Oh this might as well be the discovery of this Age, but how do we know this for the truth. How do we know this is not a trick, a trap placed long ago. I think we should be very sure of its origin, and its impact before we even begin to think of sharing this with the world. Or the Amyrlin even..."

    Leona and Viviana

  11. Silently Leona entered the room, the discovery that they had made had stunned her. But it had given her life a new meaning as well. The Dragons amnesty had caused a rift within the Ajah, some of her Sisters had agrued that they should actively seek out those so called Ashaman, and Gentle them nonetheless. Others, like her, had suggested a more daring approach. She thought that they had a different part in the pattern to play. The Dragon needed to live until Tarmon Gaidon, and who better to help him survive the dangers of Saidin and the Taint then the women of the Red Ajah.

She smiled to Viviana, one of the Sitters. The elder Red had been sort of a mentor to Leona after her initial entry in the Ajah. The Sitter had been in the same study group as Maegan, woman who had been Accepted together with Leo, and who had taken a Seat in the Hall as well. It was only because of the years of Aes Sedai calm which was etched in Leona's face to keep her from frowning as she watched Mae stand up and start her speech. The rivalry between the two Reds Sisters was not a secret the the Ajah. And Leona was not happy with defering to Maegan, she was determined to proof her worth.

    ***

Viviana looked at Maegan the young Sitter who had been chosen by Perine to lead the group on researching the diary of Bonwhin. Over the short time they had worked together, Viv had come to admire the woman's intelligence. Though they were on opposite sides on the meaning of some of the passages in the books. Even though Viviana was the elder of the two, she had pushed Maegan forward to do the presentation. The younger Sister needed to present herself to the Ajah as a valuable asset in the Hall.

    Leo and Viv

  12. The gem which layed outstretched on Leona's hand didn't give any signs of a spark of Saidar. The longer the little girl concentrated, and the longer nothing happened, the more Leona could see relieve dawning on Alexanders face. Finally Fawne took het own conclusion, just as Leo thought she saw a really tiny spark of light. The Red Sister kept silent about that though, because the spark was so small that the girl would never make it any further then the Novice whites.

Alexander rose and looked her in the eyes, as he took Fawne at her shoulder. His eyes were dark and almost unreadable, but Leo thought she saw a hint of fear, fear that she would take out her anger on his daughter. His so obvious love for Fawne softened Leona's heart, and that moment she realised that she was not angry at Alex any more. She had cherished that anger for way to long, it was time to let go now.

“Leona Sedai, can I be allowed to study with the novices?†Fawne said, her voice suprisingly strong and determined. Leo looked down to the girl and back up to Alexander, her eyes for the first time during their little meeting warm and friendly. She smiled at him, a soft smile remembering the good times they had had together. Then she turned back to Fawne.

"Yes child, I will personally see to it that you can study with the Novices once you return from your trip with your father." Leo looked at Alex again, "If ofcourse, you agree Alex."
