Since Rand went to the trouble of carrying him out, they probably weren't too gung-ho to let everybody know he was Forsaken and needed guarding before they knew why he did that.
As to why they weren't standing guard themselves... I guess they felt it was unlikely he'd get up, and felt it was important that they be present at the funeral. For their followers, and for the people who died. And out of respect for their dead Dragon friend.

To get Lanfear out of there, I think that the Dark One sent Morridin to the land of the Finns to kill her. Since the Dark One is Lord of the Grave he could then take her soul and give her a new body. I think this would also be, in the eyes of the DO, a good punishment for her failure to convert Rand, she loses her beauty.
Almost. Luc/Isam was sent.
It most likely was Moridin, not Slayer. Despite what it looks like, you can't enter the TG from T'A'R as per RJ, so Slayer didn't really go in there - he just jumped away from Perrin in tSR.
Really? I thought I remembered it being explicitly stated that Moridin sent Isam to kill her so that her soul could be recaptured.

In Towers of Midnight Chapter 1, Almen Bunt meets Rand on the slopes of Dragonmount. Did Rand do a Gateway to a lower part of the mountain/volcano & walked from there or was Rand on foot the whole way?
The text seems to imply he's walked down from the summit.

In fairness, Nakomi doesn't really take an active role in anything.

Greetings. I'm new-ish, I suppose. I was actually a member of another large-ish site ages ago (like... back around '98) that eventually came to be merged with DM, although I can't recall its name for the life of me. Since that merger, I've ghosted around DM. I just finished my first full re-read of the series, and felt compelled to start an account here this time. I can't help the urge to start re-reading again, so I thought I should spend some internetual time with similar-minded people.

That's how I did it too, thinking it was pretty badass. In the audiobooks, it's more like Sem-er-hahg, which is pretty badass too.
