Jimmy was horrified to learn this week that my childhood in Utah included the occasional mustard gas and nuclear strike drill at school. Oh and earthquakes. Apparently Texas only worried about tornadoes during the 80's.

Dinner was salade lyonaise and whole wheat spaghetti with homemade walnut pesto. Dessert was French yogurt cake. Jimmy's response? "Eww. Walnuts."

Flight booked. OMG! I'm going to Utah for the first time since I left in 1995! And it's to be a huge, huge nerd!

Hypothetical: If I was magically able to get to Utah next month, is there anyone who could pick me up at the airport? And possibly split a room in Provo?

I am torn between my desire to sit in my armchair under a warm and fuzzy blanket, and my need to sit at the table and spread my papers around so I can finish this assignment. It's so cold!
