Well, it may seem weird, because I'm not sure how much anyone else liked it, but my favorite scene from Winter's Heart was the Cleansing. It was so huge, and almost every character, good or bad, got involved, or at least took notice of it.

So yeah. Maybe it's just me, but that's my pick.

Moiraine is my favorite character. I loved how capable and serene she appeared throughout the series, and then seeing how desperate she was in New Spring, how her entire Aes Sedai career hadn't just been wandering around and visiting remote villages, she'd been trying to survive, and trusted almost no one.

I think the scene where she tells Rand she will kill them rather than let the Shadow get a hold of them is one of my favorites. She is just, dedicated.

Lan is cool too. He's solid. Very capable, but not in charge, and utterly willing to serve.
