She is certainly an "interesting" character.  And more nuanced than the other Forsaken.  But tragic ?

I mean , a lot of serial killers have messed up childhoods...but I wouldn't say that makes them tragic. Except in so far as any human failing that leads to widespread harm to innocents is tragic in itself.

Depends how you define it , I guess.

This is my take on it too, even with the serial killers' childhoods perspective.

There are definitely points in her story that can be viewed in a sympathetic lens, but her actions and reactions to those story points are what makes her irredeemable, in my opinion.  Let's not forget, she's the one who took all that intelligence and potential, then decided to run with it for her own twisted and selfish reasons.  For literal ages.  Honestly, it's the obsession that scares me the most with her.

  2. Sure!  I'm really only active in one, but we used to have a lot more.  lol

Dragonmount is divided into three sections.  The general forums, where people come and discuss the books, tv shows, etc...  The clubs, and the roleplay area.

Clubs is where people can enter the White Tower to become Aes Sedai or a Warder , or join the Band of the Red Hand, or the Kin...  You can join as many as you want, and each club has their own twist to it.  I've made many life-long friends in the White Tower, and they're pretty tight-knit.

The roleplay area is where you can write up your own character and play out plots in the Wheel of Time world.  There are lots of rules, and I've been out of it for so long I'm not sure I can explain it properly now.  lol

  3. We're going to Rhuidean!!  This is genuinely my favorite arc of the books.  :aiel:

My view of the changes made in the show is that the books are still there, so if this arc is changed so much that it's unrecognizable...I'll probably just read book 4 again.  But, I've liked the show so far.

  4. You belong to the Green Ajah!

The Green Ajah is often called the "Battle Ajah"; they await Tarmon Gai'don, where they will fight the Shadow. Until The Last Battle arrives, Greens seek to dispense justice, often with force rather than words. Members of this Ajah are allowed to bond more than one Warder, something that is very useful during battles, and many choose to have two, three or even more than that.

. Greens are often seen as emotional rather than rational, and tend to prefer action to deliberation, often taking charge in situations that require it. Greens can often be arrogant and prideful, but as a whole they are often an outgoing and friendly Ajah. While not all Greens are flamboyant, it is not rare for Greens to care about their appearance a great deal.

This is your result in its entirety:

    Green Ajah: 6

    Blue Ajah: 5

    Gray Ajah: 4

    White Ajah: 3

    Brown Ajah: 3

    Yellow Ajah: 2

    Red Ajah: 2

(*blinks* Huh. I love the Greens, but that description does not fit me at all. xD And I could have sworn I had a bigger White streak than that.)
