  1. I thought it was interesting Tsukibana did not see Moridin being turned voluntarily. It got me thinking on 13x13 terms and made me wonder, what is the Light equivalent of a Lurk? Da'shain Aiel singing perhaps? With Aes Sedai. The Green man and the Ogier prove that singing has power if only just to grow but Elaida used the source to do the same thing...

Probably been bandied around before no doubt ha. Hasn't everything? Someone out there has definitely figured out all the main wow moments but WHO?

Probably frivolous but Rand doing impossible thing could be related to his stubborn Two Rivers temperament?

That Dragon Reborn, he's impossible to deal with sometimes!

    Rand! You're being impossible!

How is it possible for one man to track that much mud inside?

    and so on..

  2. @Mark sorry I was only making a joke but then it did make me wonder about what happens to those wolves... I think heroes tied to the horn spend their spare time in TAR because they are mystically(is that a word?) tied to the horn waiting to be reborn whilst wolves seem to be the only creature in randland who get to live in TAR when they die no matter how brave or courageous or hero like they are.. So..

It's the wheel of time or the creator who kills the wolves to re-thread their soul back in to the pattern ? when they were living a peaceful existence hunting down dream animals in their perfect seeming(until slayer comes along) afterlife where they can fly and stuff.. Kinda seems cruel to me.

  3. Very thought provoking. Maybe Perrin Needed Luc to go into the blight so he would become Slayer. Perrin might have to do something in TAR that affects the outcome of the last battle which he never would have been able to do if Slayer hadn't forced him into hardcore TAR training.

I imagine there's some more Slaying to be done in the future too, and he isn't in the good books at the moment.

Another thing I thought of was maybe Slayer is an unnatural balance to keep in check the dead wolf population in TAR, I mean every wolf who has ever died running around clogging up the place? There was enough hanging around Dragonmount by all reports..

  4. @Mark, I did think of that idea but it doesn't explain the sharp teeth or the 'sleek grace' or why they would need a knife to kill Barriga. I suppose I was just thinking about the 'unnatural' part and they fit in. Kind of..

I wonder if Luc and Isam have conversations with each other or they just know what each other thinks like it's their own mind? Conversations in the space between the real world and the world of dreams, with all the lights of people asleep..? After Isam told Perrin Luc hated him it got me thinking about it. Maybe it's like a LTT thing with a voice in the head.

  5. Great read once again. Was really glad when I did my weekly check for 'It Works in Theory' and found new stuff. I was wondering if those new evil Aiel might be Fains after reading of Mordeths 'unnatural assassins' in TEotW. Kind of fits in because Fain is already in the borderlands. Hmm. I suppose we would have heard about them in the prologue of ToM but you never know. Probably been discussed to death already and I missed it
