Moiraine she could of left instruction for someone else. Lanfear (Cyndane) and or she told the dark one (once she was dead of course). Why would the dark one want him dead? Punishment? Not Likely. I don’t think saidar was used or else it was inverted from being detected by nearby channelers, like Aviendha . I don’t think a weapon was used, think of all the blood {depends) and the body being moved.
