Just finished last night.

Happy Gawyn died. He annoyed me but he stayed true to his character in the books (dieing because hes a retard with no brains and all passion)

So sad Bela died!

Sad Egwene died! I thought she wouldnt die due to need of a huge amyrlin legacy. Now thats very threatened. They may not remember her after 100 years.

Happy Logain confronted himself right at the end with the refugees.

Disliked the black tower resolution, very anti climatic? Did like Rands last orders and Androl.

Not sure on Androl and Pevaras mind talk.

Happy Nyneave lives and can continue to be awesome.

Was kinda happy Fain went out the way he did tbh. It felt right.

Overall - i love the ebb and flow of the books. They were winning, then not, then winning and then not.

:) Going to miss this series.

In a Path of Daggers, the Maidens beat Rand for going to battle without them (Sammael + Seanchan campaign).

Rand has a shirt over his head and min cries out for help when they start to beat him. Any reason why Rand did not embrace the source and lash out? At this point he is sick with the dizzyness, but I would have expected him to try initally as it shouldnt be initially know by him that its maidens attacking him.

ok... im convinced. I saw this at the bookstore and passed on it cause of the modern era. Something to read later when it dropped in price (was like $32 dollars which is really expensive for a book, especially one that size).

The Heroes calling him Lews Therin seem to be an indicator.

Rand is def bound to the wheel as the Dragon.

The horn only calls the heroes waiting in the dream world. If 5 out of 50 are born in the world, it would only pull the 45 heroes available. (numbers just for example). Unless the horn is used somewhere other then in an time where the last battle is imminent I doubt he has even answered its call. The dragon is going to almost always be born whenever the horn is blown

In the great hunt for the horn, Liandrin and Suroth have been ordered by a forsaken/ishamael to take Egewene and Nyneave across the ocean.

What is the basis/grounds for this do we know?

Why not simply order them killed?
