The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass,

 

leaving memories that become legends. Legend fades

 

to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the

 

Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called

 

the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, and Age

 

long past, a wind rose through the courtyards and

 

corridors of the great White Tower. The wind was not

 

the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings

 

to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was a

 

beginning.

 

The year is 1008NE. Currently the lands surrounding

 

Tar Valon are in full bloom. The townsfolk have just started the

 

preparations for the Beltine celebration and everything is calm,

 

at least for now .

 

It has been 30 years since the Battle

 

of the Shining Walls and the Tower is just now reaching

 

back to its former glory. It has been 10 years since

 

Rand proclaimed himself the Dragon Reborn…and yet,

 

the Last Battle still has not come.

 

The Tower and the rest of the world waits, some

 

patiently, some anxiously for the battle they know will

 

break the world once again. The Green Ajah is training

 

harder than ever, alongside a fearless pack of warders.

 

The Yellows have been practicing new forms of Healing,

 

the Blues plotting even more and secluding themselves

 

from the rest of the Tower. The Browns have been

 

studying harder than ever to find what they hope

 

will be a hidden answer to their prayers;

 

something to ensure the Dragon Reborn will prevail.

 

The Whites and Greys have been in discussions that would have

 

had anyone else trying to kill someone and the Reds have

 

increased their search for Asha’man, thinking the more they

 

gentle, the better the world will be, now and later…

 

In this reflection, all of the Forsaken are loose and the

 

Dark One’s grip on the world is ever increasing.

 

Egwene al’Vere has stepped down as Amrylin Seat and has been

 

replaced by Cerena Sedai of the Green Ajah. Cerena chose her

 

good friends Cellisa Sedai and Rikara Sedai as Keeper of the

 

Chronicles and Mistress of Novices, respectively. Both are of

 

the Red Ajah.
