  1. What if that becomes his thing? The end of each season has him show up and stab someone. Each season, people would be guessing who is Fain going to stab this time? he would be like Swipper from Dora the explorer.
  2. The twisted door frame is important to Mo and Lanfear as well. They can probably come up with something else, but that door frame added to the shock of the scene, IMO.
  3. Can anyone explain why this episode was named Daes Dae'Mar?
  4. In the book it was clear Ingtar was obsessed with getting the horn, to the point that others would comment on it. It was during the reveal that we find he saw retrieving the horn as being key to his redemption/salvation after the things he did for the shadow. I get no such sense of urgency or obsession from him in the show. this was probably mentioned already. Sorry if I am duplicating somebody’s post.
  5. For some reason, I imagine the number of people that would list Prime Video as a factor in their decision to subscribe to Prime would be pretty low. Most might not even know it is included. My wife didn’t know Amazon Music was included until I told her years after we had subscribed.
  6. Lanfear took Matt to Falme for Ishy stating she lives for people to owe her, right? maybe the costume designer meant she made the collar so it cannot be removed unless the actress is dead? Egwene’s costumes for the rest of the series will all cover her neck so we cannot see the collar.
  7. All you have to do to remove the collar is push the damane against the wall, which knocks her out. You can remove the collar at that point.
  8. How do they account for people who wait for the whole season to come out so they can binge watch it?
  9. So, Min has a vision of Matt stabbing Rand. She assumes it kills Rand. (Loial survived getting stabbed.) However, she had a vision in season 1 of Rand holding a baby. That turned out to be related to the world Ishy showed Rand to convert him to the shadow. It was not real. Based on this, could this vision also be of an alternate reality or some such thing? Could this be one of the wounds Rand gets in his side if Matt uses the dagger?
  10. I enjoyed this episode. Like others there are some nitpicking points. Why would Ryma stay in Falme to study the a’dam? How did her warded know the damane noticed? will they have time to complete this part of her story or does it matter? The sitter seems poised to fit that role. The tree singing was nice fan service but seemed a little out of place to me. I am not sure how non-book readers will take it. There was no build up or reference for viewers. How long do they leave Egy there to be trained? I thought her scenes were well done other than Renna being able to lift her so easily. I don’t know about Siuan untying a knotted weave to help Moiraine. They cannot see male weaves. How would she go about doing this? It seems a stretch to me, but I would not rule it out with this adaptation. traveling from Cairhien to Falme will take how much time? Do they do a time jump or fast travel?
  11. I am just trying to imagine how much training, conditioning, and practice it takes to be able to consistently throw massive axes 100+ feet and impale a human in the center of their torso. At times with enough force that the blade protrudes from the other side of their body. I wonder if they could show a trolloc camp with axes stuck in targets where they have been practicing or having competitions? Think of the additional world building that could be done with this.
  12. the battle at Falme will be during the day. There will just be a thick fog because of the blowing of the horn. So, visibility will probably be worse.
  13. Sorry if I ask about something that has already been addressed, there are too many replies in here to go through at the moment. There has not been any good indication as to what the girls have actually learned in their training. We see Egwene block a door with fire and the water cleaning but don’t really know how what their limits might be right now. I think the Fade on the building reveal went by too fast to really take in how shocking it should be. I was more impressed in the book. I think Liandrin cutting Nyn off from the source was good to see, but seemed to just be kind of a small thing in a big scene. It will play a part in the story later and I wonder if some non-readers missed it.
  14. Maybe a bit of a tangent from the topic… I wonder how they are going to bring everything together and conclude it in 4 episodes without feeling rushed? I think even 10 episodes in a season would be a tight fit.
