I guess the brains behind the series have some explenation for this ethnic diversity in a relative small geographic area. But even if people from all over the world would migrate to the Andor part during the breaking, people would still more and more look the same when the story starts. That´s just how it works. I actually don't really understand why people picture Lan as asian. They live 1000 km from Tar Valon...
