Well, I started this before the Finale...so now my S2 prediction is...
Show gets cancelled part way through - I shed tears & pray that Disney decides to buy the rights to WoT and make it right.
That was the worst Finale I've watched in my life... Bad WoT. Bad Tv.
At least it's Christmas and I can watch Hawkeye.
Think I’ll give Witcher another try, why not…

But if I had to guess…
Nynaeve does an AoE supergirl heal on everyone, probably resurrects Agelmar from the dead or something. Then Nynaeve heals Moiraine’s stilling, or undoes the block…whichever. Then some Seanchan stuff I guess. No idea for the boys.

I have no clue. Anything would be wildly speculative and probably wrong.

Hopefully S2 has been planned out in an intelligent manner. I also hope that Rafe can swallow his pride and see some of the fair criticisms as constructive.

I’m pretty bummed out about the series now. I was pumped after E7, I thought surely Rafe would somewhat sync things up in the finale. Now I have no expectations that we will even see some of the major events later on. Will Dumai Wells even be recognizable? Will Rand fight Ishy in the sky? Will Egwene make the black tower kneel now? Lame.

>He stared at them. Heat filled him, the burning heat of the touched sun. He could see the Draghkar clearly, soulless eyes in pale men's faces on winged bodies that had nothing of humanity about them. Terrible heat. Crackling heat.
>From the clear sky lightning came, each bolt crisp and sharp, searing his eyes, each bolt striking a winged black shape. Hunting cries became shrieks of death, and charred forms fell to leave the sky clean again.
>The heat. The terrible heat of the Light.
>He fell to his knees; he thought he could hear his tears sizzling on his cheeks. "No!" He clutched at tufts of wiry grass for some hold on reality; the grass burst in flame. "Please, nooooooo!"
>The wind rose with his voice, howled with his voice, roared with his voice down the pass, whipping the flames to a wall of fire that sped away from him and toward the Trolloc host faster than a horse could run. Fire burned into the Trollocs, and the mountains trembled with their screams, screams almost as loud as the wind and his voice.
>"It has to end!"
>He beat at the ground with his fist, and the earth tolled like a gong. He bruised his hands on stony soil, and the earth trembled. Ripples ran through the ground ahead of him in everrising waves, waves of dirt and rock towering over Trollocs and Fades, breaking over them as the mountains shattered under their hooved feet. A boiling mass of flesh and rubble churned across the Trolloc army.
>The screams died. The earth was still. Dust and smoke swirled back down the pass to surround him.we missed this.
I waited the whole season for this. But nope they couldn’t give Rand his moment. Sorry but the finale was just bad. Bad changes, disjointed. Only saving grace was the acting.

Do we have confirmation on that? I can see it, given the recast and the haste of the end there, but IMDB lists Barney for episodes 7 and 8.
I've been trying to guess at where they're going with his story if he stays behind, but if it happened due to IRL stuff that makes things more clear to me.Not 100% confirmed, but everything Ive read indicates he isn't in the next two. 1-6 were filmed before covid, so makes sense I suppose. Bummer, I thought Barney did great with what he was given.

Just watched it. Nice to see the ladies get it on. Were they in TAR in the flesh?
Sorry to see Mat go. Apparently he won't be in 7 and 8. Not sure what this means for his spar with the G boys.
So Moiraine thinks the DO is at the eye? Yeah no. This flicker didnt do Moiraine any favors in the world knowledge department.
Overall, it was pretty good. Non-reader wife said this was her favorite. 4 is still my fave.
I'm more excited for 7 and 8 based on what I've seen/heard. Good stuff coming!

I think they'll either merge Mesaana and Semi or Graendal and Semi.
Graendal in the books is all about pleasure/hedonism and controls others absolutely with Compulsion to meet her every whim, she also was the psychologist right? I think they could easily combine her with the torture/sadism aspects of Semi, as another of her hedonistic vices, and can just be another means of her breaking/controlling people (or she could do more psychological torture).
On the male side, merge Rahvin and Sammael if you want to keep their plots at all, cut Be'lal and have it be Sammael in Tear at the Stone. And I hope the show makes Taimandred show canon.
Without Rahvin Im not sure how you get the battle of Caemlyn, one of the best scenes with Nynaeve/Mog and Rand balefiring Rahvin.

Keep:
Ishy
Lanfear
Asmodean
Greandal
Semirhage
Moghedian
Demandred (combine with Taim)
Rahvin (combine with Sammael)

We can firmly say that Wheel of Time was the most watched series premiere of the year and one of the Top 5 series launches of all time for Prime Video,” Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke told Deadline
Good news. If the episodes continue to improve and minimal stupid changes, should do well.

Egwene didn't need to be ta'veren. She just needed to be herself. Making her a ta'veren just takes that away. Her experiences and trials made her stronger. It's very much an Aiel way to gain honor. To think she needs to be ta'veren..is a crutch and cheapens her.

On Amazon it’s now 57% 5-star and 26% 1-star. At one time it was 29% 1-star.
Hopefully when all 8 episodes are out it will have a more favorable rating overall. From what I’ve heard the episodes get better and better.
i think the noise will filter out after the initial shock. I have also heard they keep getting better. So fingers crossed.

I've seen them 3 times now, gets better each iteration. Acting is pretty good. I think Josha is nailing Rand. Maddy doing well also. I cant wait for the next one!

Season 2 Predictions
in Wheel of Time TV Show

I really hope they still have Rand in Falme. The fight with Turak and then battling Ishy in the sky. It would be like cutting Dumais Wells for me.
