  1. So so.

We not use the points anymore? We used to have a full on combat system, and the points system was used to buy different known Weaves and such for the combat system.

We used to track everything on my site and the calculators were used for the attack/defense, etc.

  2. Huh... been a while since I popped over here...

We still using the point system? Where's the calculators at after I let my site go down? lol

As for most excited about for the WoT show...? I wana see the Fade's! SO BADLY!

  3. Too many books?! BLASPHEMY! One can NEVER have too many books!

Although, to Songstress's point... it was kind of a pain when I moved... I had 33 big moving boxes full of books after I packed them all up. My buddies were less than pleased when we had to carry them all out of my library haha!

And now... they are all sitting in boxes still, awaiting the renovation of the basement into the new library. I have been slackin' on the whole remodel. Partially due to the insurance company giving me grief about the fireplace I want to put in. Stupid insurance companies... DONT TELL ME WHAT I CAN'T DO IN MY OWN HOUSE!

  4. "The Item". Seriously... So bad..! It was so bad that we tried to drink it better. And it didn't work. Me and 2 buddies polished off a bottle of whiskey and it STILL sucked! Absolutely HORRIBLE.

There was no redeeming moment in the movie. Absolutely no point where I said, "Woah, that was kinda cool". It was just an hour and 45 minutes of terrible. It was so bad we couldn't stop watching it. After the first 30 minutes, you just really want to see how much worse its going to get. And good lord does it ever get worse!

  5. Hey Visar, if you want a better understanding of the Ren'Shai, I am the Discipline Leader on the Org side. I wrote up a nice little explanation of our greatness. Not sure how in line it is with the RP side, but it may be useful for you.

The Ren'Shai Discipline is the path to becoming a living, breathing weapon. This Discipline requires an individual to be truly exceptional with extremely well rounded physical and mental traits in every area. Strength, Agility, Endurance, Balance, Grace, Tactical Prowess, Mental Swiftness... these things matter. A true practitioner of the Ren'Shai Discipline throws everything they have into every battle, making them truly appear to be a living weapon. Never ceasing movement, never yielding an inch to the enemy. Every movement made within Ren'Shai is simply to advance and attack.

Pain. Physical injury. These are merely catalysts, pushing the practitioner of Ren'Shai further, past their limits to the point of becoming Death's Harbinger on any battlefield they set foot upon. The Ren'Shai Discipline is difficult to master, but can be utilized to engage multiple opponents as well as single opponents. This Discipline can employ the use of light, bladed weapons and is only used by a select few.

In battle, we are an extension of the blade we wield, and the blade an extension of our will. Without mastery over one's self, the fullest martial prowess of Ren'Shai cannot be attained. It is important to not only hone your skill with the blade, but hone your mental and physical being to match the sharpness of the sword you carry. A Master of the Ren'Shai Discipline can hold their head high, knowing that they are not only a Blademaster, but master of themselves. Their emotions, their mind and body, and their destiny...

Do you have what it takes to become a living weapon? Do you possess the courage, fortitude and strength of will necessary? Can you accept that death itself will ride the edge of your blade..?

  6. Slipping silently into the room, his black scarf tied around his forehead for the purposes of this evening, instead of around his eyes, he observed Edana. She didn't seem that same woman who had interceded on his behalf in the Yards before.

No smiles now. No mirth in her eyes. Only shadows. Ghosts of the past.

He almost wished he had elected to wear the blindfold this evening so he couldn't see her pain.

It was the same look his father had in his eyes when he finally spoke of his time as a border guard. That haunted look when he spoke of friends and comrades that had been lost. He hadn't liked seeing that look anymore then, either.

Filling a mug from the cask, he sat down opposite Edana, watching over the rim as he took his first mouthful.

She didn't even seem to notice he had entered the room at all, so lost in her memories.
